Works with Philips new Instantfit LED T8 replacements...
If you're installing -- or planning to install -- Philips new (2014) "Instantfit" T8 LED replacement bulbs, this is the emergency ballast for you. Wiring is the same no matter if it's servicing a T8 florescent or Instantfit, making the exchange of these lights all the more simple. Bodine is a Philips brand, making this a "go to" choice. My only question is whether Instantfit bulbs will be around long enough to match up with the lifespan of this emergency ballast (Instantfit is Philips fourth version of an LED T8 replacement in the past 3-4 years), or whether Philips next generation of LED T8 is going to share compatibility (keep a stockpile of Instantfit or florescent T8 on hand?). Anyhow, it's here, it's now, it works, it's good!
