a 2 week detailed review
Anubias Barteri, came with 3 leaves, tall and healthy. So far doing good. Planted the roots and left the rhizome on top. placed a fert tab near it.Marble Queen, So hard to find information on its aquatic form. Came with lots of leaves. Placed in the tank and after a week leaves started to turn to mush. Cut all leaves but 3 of them and its doing better, see some new growth this morning.Hygrophila Pinnatifida, this is the plant I wanted most of all. A lot of information online, came with 5-6 stems and healthy. Put weight on it, which came with them, placed in tank. some leaves fell off, but overall doing very well. Have not seen any roots yet.Altlandsberg Sword, very beautiful plant. I received it healthy and in great shape. Was able to get 2 babies off of the stem already. I treat it like my other swords and place a fert tab under the gravel. Doing great!Telanthera, man oh man did I really like this. Came healthy with 5-6 stems. Placed in the tank weighted and within 5 days was shedding leaves like crazy. So took it out and trimmed most of the leaves off and left a couple on each stem. Eventually the whole stem started to rot. I have read these are a hard plant to get going, so I wasnt too disappointed when I threw them all in the trash.Red Melon Sword, arrived healthy and green. No leaves have rotted and doing very well. Treating it just like my other sword plants. Has new growth on it.Lobelia Cardinalis, arrived in perfect condition. Older leaves were purple in color and new leaves were green. Roots were already growing so planted in the tank. Some of the purple leaves were coming off the plants, so I uprooted and trimmed those off and left the green leaves. Doing great so far and placed a fert tab in the gravel. Hygrophila Araguaya, arrived with 5-6 stems with a weight. Cleaned them up and placed in the tank. Some leaves came off but overall it is doing very well. No roots yet, but still green and no evidence of dying.Java Fern and Vallisneria, two of the easiest plants to have. Java fern is doing ok, it is still getting used to the tank. Has not grown, has not died, it is just there. The valls are doing awesome. I got 2 plants and one of them is already shooting out babies, the other is growing new leaves. Put a fert tab by those as well.I have a 60 gallon, regular aquarium gravel no co2 injection, fertilize with thrive and seachem fertilizer tabs. No co2 might be why the Telanthera died, but with all the plants I have received and those being the only ones to die, this is a great deal. Before you buy, do some research on the plants you will receive. Some need more work then others to get them established.

Beautiful Plants
These are beautiful, healthy plants! I would suggest paying attention to weather conditions before ordering (too hot or cold).First, I am new to live plant tanks (the fake plants would tear my betta's fins).I've ordered twice now from this seller. The first order, I attempted a bleach bath for fear of snails or alge. Some of the plant unfortunately did not survive. I purchased a second batch and just placed them in the tank and have not had any issues with pests or random hitchhikers.I did research on caring for live tanks and find it not to be the easiest or cheapest option in the beginning, but I feel will be so beneficial once my tanks are fully established. I currently have I no fish and I'm just focusing on these plants.I've read that new plants may "melt" when first introducing them to the aquarium due to going from oxygen to being submerged in water, and then they will grow new leaves.I have one tank with pebbles that was cycling with water before i placed the plants in. I found it difficult to keep the plants down in the pebbles or from floating up.My second tank I did sand and planted them before filling the tank which was much easier!I've purchased Root Tabs that I place in the subtrate directly, CO2 Booster, and Leaf Zone to provide nutrients. They seem to be happy plants so far!I'm extremely happy with these plants and I look forward to purchasing more from this seller. I love the variety of all the different plants that come in the bundle. It's a learning process definitely and can't wait to add fish to my beautiful tanks eventually.

Great value to start out a new tank
A little more than a month later and at least one of each species is still growing. The Anubias is a little iffy but I think that’s on me with too much lighting, poor glueing, and low nutrients. A few of the stems died off but as long as I have a few of each I’m okay with that since they’re easy to propagate. The swords are doing great and the grassy plants are good as well. I received two of the longer grasses which almost died back all the way before their roots kicked in and now I’ve somehow ended up with three of them. The swords are doing great as well. I enjoyed this as a starter to get my tank set up and will probably add some more specific plants later. Two things I wish were better. One: I would have liked to receive a card identifying which species each of the plant are. Since this set is mostly for beginners most of us won’t know what these plants are and would like to research how to are for them. Google images reverse image search has helped. The other thing is I wish the plants had been rooted longer. Most of the plants had very small roots or none at all which I think limited some of the immediate success. I've got aquasoil beneath the sand as well as root tabs. Oase filter and led lighting. No CO2. Currently have 8 amanos, one snail, and 10 neons planning on a few medium sized fish eventually. Tank is 40 gal.

Good plants, beware of ick
These plants gave my tank ick.I should’ve quarantined them, I lost 2 fish.Out of the ten plants only 1 came slimy/mushy/dead. I live in Miami so I’m not sure why native Florida plants took a week to get here..but 9 were alive. It’s been a week since I’ve had them, I’ve treated the tank for ick, the rest of my fish are beginning to heal, and so far no other plants have died. There is some yellowing of leaves but after traveling so long in 95degree weather it’s expected.

Quality plants
The plants arrived much sooner than expected. Having recently purchased plants from other online sellers I can honestly say that these are of a much higher quality. All but the cuttings came with many healthy roots in wonderful condition. The cuttings came well protected with foam and a lead strip instead of a rubber band crushing the stems. Only one plant was melting away but I cleaned the bad and planted the remaining 3-4". It'll probably be fine. The order came with an instruction sheet for care and planting. This company is getting my business in the future. They obviously know what they are doing. My only complaint is the lack of an inventory of the plants shipped. Being new to aquarium plants any info would've been nice to help me learn. An accurate list would've made learning simpler. I highly recommend this seller.Edit 01/01/24I've got baby snails. I cannot blame this seller for it as I have used multiple other sources for my plants. They did appear within 24 hours of planting this order. I'm not upset by it anyway. It's my fault. I have a mud with sand substrate tank with an abundance of plants and wanted a few snails anyway. You might use better practices for your tank when planting anything from anyone. I didn't but thought my experience would be good info for others to at least know.
