Easy to install, and helps take strain off my charger.
I recently got a Tesla Model 3 and a mobile charger kit. After a few days of the connector just hanging from my power socket, I’d occasionally get a message in the car that my charger was over heating and my car was getting half the charge. Turns out, gravity loosens those connectors up over time. So I bought and installed this just under my plug. It was very easy to install, and the plastic bends just enough for you to slide the mobile connector in it. Now I don’t get the message and the cable is sturdy.. and plus.. it looks nice! My wife doesn’t think my charger looks trashy now!

It does the job. I did notice the flimsiest of the charger holder while installing it to the wall but I’m not moving it from where it is… I think we’re good here.

No more overheating drops from 32A to 16A
We charge our Teslas at home. For the longest time, they charged at 32 Amps. Then, one day, charging dropped to 16 Amps. Research showed it could be an issue with mechanical stress on the Mobile charger. This fixed it. The solution required that I also use a different type of extension cord (also from Amazon) -- the type that goes from the mobile charger to the car (not the NEMA outlet to the mobile charger).

Problem Solved!
All the outlets in my house are upside for whatever reason, so it was very awkward to plug my charger in due to the weight. This solved my issue and for a much cheaper cost than what Tesla charges for it. My only regret is I didn’t go with both the holder and hook combo set! Definitely better to buy as a combo vs separately since it’s more cost effective to get the combo. I never leave my cable hanging, so I didn’t think I would need the cable hook. But I ended up putting a hook in to help hold up the weight of cable due to being upside down. Definitely worth the price overall and I’m happy with it.
