Excellent Pens, but Results will Vary by Seller
These pens are my favorite brush pens and I mainly use them for modern calligraphy. They are the perfect size to take on-the-go, and I use them to share my handlettered pieces on social media, write headers on my college notes and planners, and occassionally for drawing. FEEL OF PEN The material of the brush pen's handle is plastic, and feels very soft and comfortable to the touch. The pens are not slippery and the tips are very soft and flexible, so use them with a very light hand. The nibs are small felt tips, so they do not have any bristles and work best for small works. DURATION AND COLOUR OF INK The ink is water-based, so they are not archival. However, the ink looks pure black on white paper and a very dark brown on tan/creme-coloured paper. Do not use these pens on cheap printer or other textured papers as they will fray. They work really well on parchment paper (let them dry!) and very smooth paper like HP bright white paper. Depending on the seller, the pens will either dry quickly, come overfilled with ink (I solve this by leaving them uncapped for a few minutes), or come with the perfect amount of ink. Since these do come in a multiple pack, beware that your pens might fall in only one or several of these categories. In general, they do dry quickly over time if you leave them uncapped, so always make sure to cap them well. Store them sideways or with the cap down to ensure the ink's duration. A pack of five pens will typically last me 5-7 months since I use them very frequently. Note: duration will vary by individual pen and the smoothness of paper. If you right on textured paper, the ink will dry quickly and the pens will fray; but if you write on smooth paper, the ink will last and the pens will not fray unless you really try to make them fray. STROKE SIZE/THICKNESS Depending on you hand pressure, you can achieve 3-4 different stroke thicknesses. However, most people only achieve 2 if they do not hold the pen sideways. That being said, I typically only use the two main thicknesses by holding the pen upright.

Wonderful for drawing/sketching
These pens are amazing. I thought for the longest time that I just wasn't going to be a good artist on paper, but these pens have unlocked possibilities I didn't think possible. To explain, these type of brush pens allow you to vary the pressure and get amazing details. I have been using these to do "old timey" etching style drawings. I absolutely love them for drawing/doodling. I attempted to use them for calligraphy, but I still haven't studied it enough to take advantage. I highly recommend these pens, it was a great price and the quality is amazing. Even after a lot of drawing and sketching, the tip has retained it's brush shape and is still able to offer tiny little lines.

Excellent brush pen; make sure you buy enough though!
These have a nice, smooth feel which allows you to make long, flowing strokes effortlessly. Line weight variations are easy and natural to make. I've found that a new pen straight out of the package will give you a stroke that doesn't start fading for about 15 inches, and fades out by about 24 inches, which suffices for most anything I'm doing with it. They don't last terribly long for a brush pen, starting to fade after about a week of regular use. Fortunately, they're quite inexpensive, especially when bought in multi-packs like the 5-pack I'm reviewing. Hence, if you get these and end up liking them, make sure to get enough of them for your needs!

The Soft Tip Tombow Fude Brush Pen is awesome for beginners
These Towbow Fude Brush Pens are by far one of my favorite Brush pens for lettering and I am so glad I decided to go with the Soft tip after all. They are so easy to write with and not at all difficult for a bit of a newer hand letterer. I will certainly be purchasing more in the future and the shipping was spot on and not at all the time frame I was quoted.

Far and beyond the best!!
I’m ordering and reordering these constantly, they are my go-to brush pen for hand lettering & modern calligraphy/brush lettering. They’re what I refer friends, families, and lettering clients to first, every time, because I haven’t found a more user friendly brush pen. And I promise I don’t say that lightly- it’s only because of years of experimenting with all different types, sizes, and brands that I feel comfortable praising these so highly!

Second time purchasing
I like these types of markers. My last set like these didn’t last as long as I thought they should have. For the price, I decided to just order more instead of deal with fading markers. I hope these last longer.

I love LOVE these pens so much
I love LOVE these pens so much! For the past few months, I have been learning calligraphy, and this pen has been my all time favorite! It is such a great beginner level pen. It is rich in color and smooth against paper. I purchased the set of 5, but I have only gone through 2 so far. It is very long-lasting, and the tip does not blunt or get misshapen after all my practices.

I bought these to practise calligraphy and they are very good to use. Smooth and for beginning to write I recommend the soft tip first, although I like to use them in preference to the hard tip. Hard tip are also available and don’t give such a good stroke. Flexible strokes make writing easy and fun, impress your friends and try new lettering styles. Down stroke..push down to create a thick line, up stroke lighter south to create a thin stroke. When I write to family they always say how nice my writing is, a lot of the writing is down to the pens, I recommend you give them a try, at the reasonable price, why not.

Son mis rotuladores preferidos para Lettering y Caligrafía. Su tinta es totalmente negra. Desliza perfectamente incluso en papeles no demasiado recomendados para este tipo de escritura. No puedo vivir sin ellos.

It is an amazing brush, great for writing and for drawing. To modulate a line we can apply a bit of pressure and the line smoothly change without blobs. A great complement for graphic novellling for adding strenght to some contours; otherwise, with a regular pressure one can draw very fine and regular. I just love it! It took a while to came though, but I think that'll I'll order some more!
