I am so happy w this battery😃 I just had to review. We’ve had our Dyson V8 animal + for 4-5 yrs now. Almost immediately I was disappointed in the battery Dyson put on it. Total piece of crap. We got so little run time that I’d be cursing Dyson every time I used it. Saw on YouTube that you could change the battery. Bought this on Amazon and it came w 2 filter, one of which we didn’t know existed. Easy to swap out. Just have a small screw driver…very small, or you’ll strip the screws. Suction is amazing now. I just swept the entire downstairs and battery indicator didn’t even drop. Before I could barely get a room swept b4 having to charge again. Awesome battery. So far so good. I'm not seeing any additional battery life compared to my original, but after my Dyson battery failed this got it up and running again. Installation was easy and I appreciate that a new filter is included. If you buy OEM, it almost makes sense to just buy a new vacuum. This battery makes it an easier decision to repair your old vacuum.

So happy with these replacement items. Dyson stick vacuum is now like brand new. It is 4 years old and used almost everyday of its life.

Original battery on my Dyson V7 finally kicked the can and this item was perfect to replace the OEM battery. However, the post filter needed an adapter that is NOT INCLUDED. I needed a new battery and this replacement fit my vacuum perfectly. It was easy to install and I only had to remove and replace two screws. It is a durable battery, the quality is outstanding, and the longevity makes my vacuum run like new. It is a great battery replacement for your Dyson.

I replaced the original battery in my V8 stick Vac with this product. It definitely provides longer run time than the original battery. Too early to know how it will perform over time. So far, it's doing well.

We purchased this battery about 6-7 months ago and it is already failing. We did read, and consistently follow the charging procedures recommended by company. In spite of this, the battery is now almost completely dead. There can be manufacturing defects or just bad cells with any company so I am not saying all of their products are bad but we had a bad experience. We are hoping the company will replace it. We will update this if they do.

We decided to try this replacement battery since the cost was much less than going through the Dyson website. The battery works very well. It was easy to switch out. Battery life is much improved.
