Because the jeans had several layers of fabric where the button was to be attached, the posts of all the replacement buttons I found were barely long enough. My first purchase was of the type that is very popular because no tools are required. It sounded great, but they were not strong enough to be secure with that thick fabric. So, I ordered these without much hope of them being long enough to be any better. It did take a little bit of pressure to turn the tool (which is included with the buttons) but not enough to be a problem. The jeans have been worn and washed a few times now and the button is still secure. I would recommend purchasing these instead of the no-tool-required style because your jeans are likely thick as well.

A great value for your money. Super easy to install and take off. I have used these to upsize and shrink different pants for a better fit. My only issue with the performance of them is that the back side sticks out pretty far and can poke at my waist line. Doesn’t hurt but it definitely irritates me. And also the pin can kinda bend if you make it too tight so you have to put it at the perfect length or else it will bend out of shape.

I’ve had these for a couple years and they have held up great through many washes. It did bend slightly, but still functional. They are not super easy to remove, you have to get it in just the right position.

This is a great hack if you have jeans that are too loose. Just clip these on your pants for your desired tightness and they’ll fit perfectly!

I purchased these and thought they were great until they started popping apart. I would put it together again, it would be OK for awhile, then pop apart again. After a few times of doing this, the back wouldn't even stay on anymore- I could just pull it apart. I end up throwing it away and starting again with a new one (I really only use these on 1 pair of shorts). They are pretty inexpensive, so I could but another pack after I go through all 4, but I'd rather pay more for ones that hold forever!

These will save you so much money! I have bought this product twice now, and for someone like myself who doesn't sew, these are amazing. Easy to use and they stay on your jeans for a long time.

Easy to snap into the pants waist and functional! I used them on 4 pairs of jeans and so glad I found these at a good price.
