Replaces Central Machinery logsplitter switch
Replaces Central Machinery (Harbor Freight brand) log splitter model number 97113 switch perfectly. Be advised that this part is a momentary switch, meaning you must hold it down to keep the machine running. It is not a click on/off type . This is intended for safety.

This part had the EXACT same manufacturer, MFG codes, model number, etc. as the part I was replacing. It even had the same label; all be it with current dates. While it was pin-compatible with my part, it required enlarging the mounting hole and is NON-locking unlike the original part.

Worked for my WEN log splitter.
I was gifted an old electric log splitter that was in pretty rough shape. I believe it was an older WEN brand. After replacing the capacitor, the switch went out on it. This switch looked identical to the one I had (same voltages/specs/amps) so I figured it should be a direct replacement. Works fantastic! If your switch "looks like this" and has the same voltage specs, there's a very good chance this will work for you, even if it's not a Ryobi/Homelite splitter. This switch controls both the hot and neutral wires. Very happy to get my free splitter working, saved me a lot of time processing firewood! If your motor hums but doesn't turn over, chances are your capacitor is bad. Just find one with the same specs. And always make sure to use at least a 12GA or thicker extension cord. These motors suck up a lot of juice at start up, and mine wouldn't even run off a very thin standard extension cord because it couldn't get enough start-up current.
