Beautiful and well-made sewing/craft cart
A well-made, sturdy, and functional cart. Lots of work room with the drop leaf extended, and plenty of storage for supplies with the shelves and plastic trays. Great feature is if you remove the plastic trays when you have the leaf extended, you now have a very nice table for a buffet, and no one will bump into those storage trays. Glad I chose this cart - Sauder is a company that has been making quality furniture for decades.

Excellent option no matter what your sewing skill level!
From my wife: This review is late in coming. I got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. And when I say -a gift- what I mean is, I helped him assemble it, wrap it and place it next to the tree in 2020. Assembly was easy. All our pieces and hardware were there and easy to assemble. We did so quietly enough after the kids had gone to bed. After Christmas, it went downstairs into what was going to be a crafting area, then quickly came back up to our dining room where I could multitask while crafting. A note- it doesn’t work well on carpet. In the dining area, we have a hardwood floor. This is exceptional because when I have larger projects, I can immediately pull the craft table toward me and keep working as I sew, then tuck the table back when those larger portions are complete. I initially kept the cart closed between projects, lowering the side table. But I have long since given up on that. Using the expanded table and trays for a ton of storage and active work area. (More on this relevance later). The hardware is quality. No grinding, skidding, slipping, shifting or breaking in 2 years. The magnetic doors work exactly as they should. The cabinet side houses thread and some fabric, though this will likely change soon. What adds to my love of this cart is that, in 2021, I also got a serger! So this little cart now houses my sewing machine on top and my serger on the bottom together with a thread caddy. To swap between projects is a breeze. The leg room is a bit shallow. So I usually sit back a little bit. However, it makes it easy for my 10 year old and 7 year old to work at my sewing machines too. They have been working with me for the 2 years I have had the table. I return to the storage area topic. This has excellent storage and it has served quite well for these 2 years. It’s in like new condition. It’s staying! However, I got a cricut! So now I need more storage and surface work area. This led to more searching for a second craft table. Which brings me to Sauder. Two years with this product and hands down- I recommend it. As I expand my crafting, I am looking at a second Sauder product to meet my cricut needs.

It’s good, just wish it had a little more support in it.
Contrary to other reviews, I found the instructions very clear and assembly was a snap. My only concern is that the top seems to sag a bit when I put my Janome Skyline on it so the extension door sticks a bit when I open and close it. It’s very compact and offers enough space when opened, I just kind of question the longevity of the product.

PERFECT table for the sewing ballers on a budget! :)
I've always wanted a functional sewing table and after using a generic white 6 ft folding table for over a decade, it was time to upgrade! I started my research by checking out the high end sewing brands (Kangaroo, Koala, Arrow, etc) and QUICKLY decided that I'm not ABOUT to spend one to three months worth of mortgage payments on this thing. WHO. DOES. THAT?!?! (No, I mean I REALLY want to know who out there is buying those???? *side eye* lol!) Just kidding but seriously...this is a market that is obviously ripe for some competition..... GASP! Anyhoo...after gathering my breath and placing my order I waited patiently for my cart to arrive. As Murphys Law would have it, there was a snafu with my order. Based on the shipping label it appears that it was drop shipped directly from Sauder and apparently someone fell asleep in the warehouse and pulled a TV Cart instead of a Sewing Cart. REALLY?! (You had ONE job!) I cannot blame Amazon and I didn't discover the error myself until after I had already taken EVERY. DARN. PIECE. out of the carton. I called Amazon within an hour after delivery and they placed a replacement order at no cost and set up for UPS to pickup the return for the next day. About 5 days later I finally received the correct item. Sauder packed this item really well. It arrived shrink wrapped in order to ensure no damage in case the outer box got dinged up during shipment, which it did. Lol! But there were no missing pieces or components - yay! I give Sauder an extra gold star for adding a website link to the instruction manual that allows you to view an assembly VIDEO - HOW cool is THAT?! The instructions were clear, concise and easy to follow. I have purchased and assembled wayyyy MORE "faux furniture" than I care to admit over the years, so I was delighted to discover that there were no weird defects and this cart came together beautifully - it exceeded my expectations for the cost. I'm a very practical person, so what truly sold me on this cart (besides the price - HELLO!!! :)) is the utility. The LAST thing I needed was another pretty table with no functionality. It has an extra leaf on the left side that can be lifted to extend your workspace another 16 inches - SWEET!!! I insisted on reading the Amazon reviews before purchasing and made a mental note of the suggestion from others to keep the leaf extended and just add some storage units underneath the leaf to support it - GENIUS! There are two storage spaces on the cart - one on the right side that has 2 shelves (I used it to store my sewing machine) and a 2nd storage space behind the front door (I used it to store my embroidery machine). There are also 2 removable bins hanging on the inside of the front door that can be used for small supplies. The cart also has wheels for easy of mobility. What else could you ask for for only $160 bux?! If you have 3 stacks to blow on a fancy sewing table then....well, I hate you. Haha just kidding - lol! But I would recommend you get THIS table instead - and spend the rest of those hard earned coins on fabric and margaritas! Happy Sewing! :)

Sewing cabinet
Beautiful, Well made, and so functional ! This is the 5th one I purchased over the last 15 yrs. I have sewing machine, sergers, embroidery machines on these and absolutely love them. Sturdy and hold up very well. Great instructions for assembly also.

It works for me!!!
I needed a table for sewing, did a search and found this cart. I haven't actually used it for sewing yet. It was easy to assemble, I called upon my husband for assistance, it took a couple hours. Maybe around three I would say to include unpacking and final assembly. It is on wheels which is really great because I like to maneuver it around my space a bit. It doesn't take up much space which is great, and it looks very nice too. The storage is great, and much needed. I stored most of my sewing needles, baskets and whatnots on the shelves, and my sewing machine underneath. Very tidy! It seems fairly sturdy, but probably needs to be handled with care for longevity, especially in my case because I may move it around a bit more then other users will, across carpeted floors where there is more traction. That is why I am giving it just a four star rather then a five star rating. I am sort of torn on this because the price is very good. I shouldn't expect a hardwood piece of furniture for this price and its better then many other furniture products I have seen. So, after having said all this, I am glad I purchased it, it looks great, and it satisfied my need for a sewing space!

Very easy to assemble - clear instructions
I get nervous when furniture arrives in srelatively small box; anticipating lots of screws, poorly written instructions, some missing pieces, misaligned pre-drilled holes, etc. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! There certainly were a lot of screws, but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, all the parts were there, and it assembled very easily. I spent about 2 hours from the time I opened the box (and much of that was being my being paranoid and taking extra time because it seemed almost too easy). When assembled, it was a reasonably solid piece of furniture that my wife is enjoying in her new sewing room. I'm very comfortable recommending it.

Good value for small area
Nice for compact area. Little harder to put together than anticipated as some screws were difficult to get in. Looks nice
