The coating thickness gauge SBS-CT-123 PRO can be used on surfaces of different metallic materials such as steel or iron, as well as on non-magnetic materials such as aluminium, copper or a layer of car paint on a metal surface. The unit is characterized by its high measuring accuracy of ±2% + 1µm and its wide measuring range of 0-5. 000µm. Furthermore, the measuring instrument has a mini-USB port for data transfer. In the metal and chemical industries, as well as in the automotive one, this compact helper is indispensable. With a precision of ±2% + 1µm, the coating thickness gauge measures the thickness of all metals. Get excellent results thanks to the generous measuring range of 0 - 5,000 of µm, especially when it comes to the thickest coatings - which doesn't only happen with automotive coatings. You can measure using three different modes. The first mode determines the values via magnet, the second one for other materials using Eddy current and the third one, auto-mode, checks and detects the type of certified material. Additionally, the coating thickness gauge has a practical V-Groove. Measurements on round bodies such as axles, hinges, fenders and spoiler are facilitated this way. Included in the delivery next to the two AAA batteries are the following: a mini USB cable, a software and a carrying case, plus different calibration discs for simple device calibration.
