The product title says vegan, yet this says it is derived from cattle. Can someone please clarify this?

In the meantime, here are some answers for you: To clarify, our Living Calcium Advanced is labelled as Vegetarian but not Vegan, as the probiotics which were used to ferment some of the nutrients use dairy as the culture medium. While the Calcium used to be derived from MCHA (bones of cattle), we changed the Calcium source to whole food plant-sourced Calcium from Algae. (The packaging should state that it is "free from crushed rock, limestone, chalk and animal bones.") Seller, where are these sourced and manufactured?

Living Calcium is made in the U.S.A. Based on the large number of ingredients that we use in our products, it is very difficult to specify which country each ingredient was grown. This is also difficult because for one batch the ingredient may be obtained from one country, but another batch may be obtained from another country based on availability, and most importantly that our specific requirements for that ingredient are met. The safety and efficacy of our products are of the utmost concern. All raw materials have strict specifications and their Certificates of Analysis are kept on record, and we test all finished products for heavy metals, microbial growth and pathogenic species such as E. coli and Salmonella. Excellent calcium supplement. This product has all the right ingredients for calcium to be absorbed & effective. I have no trouble swallowing it. This is the only calcium supplement I take will recommend.

Nobody makes supplements like Garden of Life, in my humble opinion. I have Leaky Gut Syndrome and it is very difficult for my body to absorb the vitamins and minerals I take. I've had excellent luck with Garden of Life supplements. If I don't absorb my vitamin B, the corners of my mouth crack and bleed. Garden of Life's B supplement worked for me when others failed. And now I am putting my trust into this calcium. All Garden of Life supplements go the extra mile: For instance, their vitamins also contain some antioxidants, digestive enzymes, and probiotics... because they are so good for your overall health! So this calcium also contains vitamins K and D, which are necessary for the absorption of calcium. There is also some Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Magnesium (which works hand in hand with calcium), Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Boron, Betiane, and Calcified Red Algae. The calcium is from Algae - which is a fantastic source of calcium that is easily absorbed by the human body. Everything that is in this supplement is there to help you body get the optimum calcium absorption - and that is a very good thing. I have osteoporosis and cannot take prescription medications to correct it. Therefore, I take the best calcium I can find - and this is it! So why only four stars? It costs A LOT of money! I love that this calcium is whole foods and has magnesium for absorbtion! Because it's magnesium and calcium in one pill, it's a great prental supplement to take with all the other pills a pregnant woman has to take! 🤪
