Colourful telling the time book
Its a colourful telling the time book. I bought this for my child who is in year 3. Just to reinforce what he finds a tricky subject. It starts at reading analogue clocks 5 past the hour. Each double page has an explanation of a conceptWhich I like and then some questions to answer. It goes through the 12 hour clock, 24 hour, minutes and hours, days, weeks, months, years and it even has a puzzle to solve with a story in the middle. It also has answers at the back which is helpful. Overall it looks very good.

simple and easy to learn about times
We were happy to receive one more book from this company, as they always are very easy to use to teach our little ones.Easy to understand how things work, very well explained and good detail. It's perfect for my girl, as she is 8, but it can be used with younger kids I reckon.Overall, a good instrument to help little ones to know the time.

Skills and drills using time
This book assumes children can already tell the time and helps them to apply this skill to various situations. It starts by revising how to read clocks before moving onto the 12/24hr clock and some mixed problems. The second half of the book looks at time without clocks and helps children to work through problems on days, weeks, month and years as well as how to use a calendar.Answers are included at the back. Being bright and colourful makes learning fun and children will not notice how much work they are doing. It is well targeted and a great addition to the CGP collection!

Jam packed colourful activity book
Got this for my 7 year old who is in Year 2 and is just learning about telling the time. The first few pages are about manageable for the level she is currently at and my plan is to pace ourselves slowly through the rest of the book over the Summer. There’s certainly a good mix of exercises and puzzles for the 7-9 age range and looking at both analogue and digital clocks. Another great fun and colourful book from a reliable brand.

Really good
Ordered four books from this series for when my daughter had her half-term break. As it was two weeks long they kept her busy - not sure she appreciated it though. All the books follow the same design. They are well laid out with lots of colours to try and keep it fun. Explanations are easy to follow and exercises are engaging. The curriculum seems to be matched to what they do at school at the same age. Would recommend.

Terrific time tasks!
This series of CGP books is superb support for teachers and parents. Time is often such a tricky concept so any chance to revisit, practice and sharpen up skills is great. These workbooks are great for a little often type practice. As with the others in this activity book CGP range it has a puzzle in the middle, helpful answers at the back and task page that follow the usual pattern: how it works intro, questions to try, then a challenge. It covers analogue, digital, twelve hour, twenty four hour, the right vocabulary, roman numerals and problems too. Really good for school or home use. I really like these resources.

Excellent revision book
This is a superb telling the time practice and learning book. CGP are the market leaders in revision and practice books and this comes out well here. This is a thin book around 30 pages but packs in so much. There are even answers at the back. The use of colour really helps engage the student. Perfect for 8 year olds and above. Learning to tell the time isn’t easy there are so many different ways, 12 hours, 24 hours, digital. This book includes quarter to and quarter past etc. Complete with lots of examples for readers to work out what the time is.Pleased to recommend

Not for learning.. more for practice.
I love this range of books, but this one was a bit disappointing. I wanted a book to help my 8year old gain confidence and practice time, but this is a bit too tricky.Would be better for improvers than for learners.
