This pedal is essential for those who want to work on soloing over a chord progression or hear an instant playback of how they sound. And, not spend a pile of money to do it or spend more time setting up than actually practicing. I've had the pedal for about a year and find I use it almost daily. It's simple to use, reliable, and allows for a lot of overdubbing. I've plugged in an acoustic guitar for the chord progression, then played over it with an electric guitar for leads. Also, by comparison, this pedal allows more recording time than most, if not all, of its competitors. It's also possible to link multiple pedals to dub in extra instruments should one desire to do so. If you're considering purchasing this pedal, I suggest also getting the Planet Waves 9V power adapter. I hear, but can't confirm, that there are recording issues associated with this pedal and other adapters.

I've only used if for a short while but so far I'm very impressed with this item. I'm sure it will help me develop my very basic guitar skills and make learning fun. The device itself is very sturdy and well made so should stand the test of time. Update: I've been using this pedal for a few days and just had to update this review with a word of caution.....perhaps I received a dodgy unit but mine seems to interfere with the normal progression of time. On Christmas day, I had put the Turkey on to cook and decided to have a little noodle. After five minutes of Trio time, about two hours of real time elapsed. Only for my wife shouting through the noise of base, drums and my horrendous guitar playing was I released from the clutches of Trio's alternate time universe, just in time to save Christmas dinner. Then just this morning I picked it up again, and when I finally put it down I found I had a beard, a head of grey hair and my kids had grown up and moved out. You have been warned.... Amazon Packaging Fail : The packaging is another matter. When I ordered this, I missed the note that said it would be shipped in packaging that would reveal what is inside. What this actually means is that it will not be shipped in any packaging at all except for the retail box (pretty box) the item comes in. Not only that, the retail box itself is not sealed in any way (no film wrap, or even a sticker), so the box is easily opened and the device removed. How it made it to me in one piece or still in the box I'll never know. Slapped to the retail box is the packaging label which is not easy to remove (I eventually got it off with white spirit and effort without damaging the box too much). While I understand Amazon is trying to cut down on packaging, why send me a phone screen protector worth £5 in a box when it already packaged in a hard plastic case, and not a £150 piece of electronics equipment!!!

Ich habe ein Gerät gesucht, mit dem ich mehrstimmig mal was vor mich hindudeln kann, auch wenn keine begleitende Gitarre mit zugehörigem Gitarristen vorhanden ist. Für mich ist dieses Gerät optimal. Easy Tracks aufnehmen, loopen, drüberspielen, perfekt. Der Batteriebetrieb ist eigentlich sinnlos. Nach 2 Stunden ist's vorbei mit der Dudelei, weil kein Saft mehr drauf ist. Dann muss der JamMan aufgeschraubt werden, um die Batterie zu wechseln. Aber mal ehrlich, wenn man mit einer "Stromgitarre" spielt, kann man auch mit einem zusätzlichen Netzteil und dem zugehörigen Kabel leben. Ich liebe das Gerät.

Très simple d'utilisation; on peu faire pas mal de chose quand on la couple avec une petite table de mixage un micro et une guitare; même branché un synthé; etc ! Plusieurs possibilité de créations et il y a aussi un système de synchronisation avec lequel on peut synchronisé d'autres pédale comme celle ci ! Très satisfait pour un petit prix !

Dieses Gerät macht echt Laune! Nach kurzer Einarbeitung gestaltet sich die Handhabung sehr intuitiv und einfach. Theoretisch braucht man nicht mal einen Gitarrenverstärker. Eigentlich sogar im Gegenteil. Über eine HiFi Anlage o.ä. klingt die "Band in a Box" (Diese Bezeichnung verdient das Gerät definitiv !) sehr authentisch und technisch bedingt auch wesentlich besser als über den Git-Amp. Ich sage euch: Mir bluten die Finger ;-) Ich bin hauptsächlich im Rock- und Metal-Bereich unterwegs. Dafür eignet sich das Teil sehr gut. Ist auch interessant mal "fremde" Genres (Jazz, Country etc) zu testen. Da kommen einem hier und da auch mal völlig neue Ideen. Auch die (Je nach Genre voreingestellten und nicht einstellbaren) Effekte sind gut umgesetzt und absolut brauchbar. Dennoch kann man natürlich seine eigenen Tretminen verwenden. (Ich verzichte jedoch bisher völlig darauf). Die generierten Drum und Bass lines klingen (über HiFi) sehr echt und in keiner Weise irgendwie künstlich oder so. Über die Software (Firmware-Updater und eine Art Dateimanager - zum Download auf der Herstellerseite) kann ich derzeit nicht viel sagen, da ich sie zwar installiert, aber noch nicht benutzt habe. Also wer mal so richtig im Kämmerlein abrocken will und mangels Bandzugehörigkeit vielleicht sonst keine Gelegenheit dazu hat oder einfach mal zu Hause die Sau raus lassen will : Dieses kleine Kästchen bringts ! Für alle anderen macht es bestimmt auch echt Laune. Auch zum üben für Anfänger die schon ein wenig gelernt haben ist das Ding besten geeignet. Blutige Anfänger sollten sich den Kauf überlegen, da es eine gewisse Kenntnis über Rythmik, Tonlagen und Song-Arrangement erfordert. Der dazu passende Fussschalter ( Digitech Foot Controller FS3X ) soll die Handhabung noch vereinfachen. Allerdings kann ich das hier und jetzt noch nicht bestätigen. Die Funktionen sind aus meiner Sicht doch recht begrenzt.... Aber das teste ich noch... Bisher gabs für mich nur 2 kleine "negative" Eindrücke: Die Drehregle für Genre und Style arbeiten teilweise etwas unpräzise. Da wird schon mal ein Schritt übersprungen. Die müssen also recht filigran gehandhabt werden. Und warum gibt es keinen Power-Knopf ? Also einen simplen An- und Aus-Schalter ?? Sicherlich haben die Meisten ne schaltbare Steckerleiste. Aber trotzdem..... Ist aber kein Grund nen Stern ab zu ziehen ;-) Alles in Allem: Cooles Gerät für nen coolen Preis !!! *Daumenhoch!!*
