Read a few previous reviews that said magnet doesn't work. Check the material your pins are made of‼️. I combined this with an order of glass ball pins. They worked with it and I LOVE IT! First night sewing my little Yorkie jumped up and knocked it off a high table scattering the pins on a carpet. Would have been a pain without this. I just held it and swept my hand back and forth and it grabbed about 100 pins leaving a handful that were stuck in the carpet‼️Couldn't be happier and with two for that price who cares one doesn't hold 400 pins.My only concern is that my old pin cushion also sharpened my pins as I used it so I may need a sharpener cushion.

Handy!
Bought these for doing some crafts with my grandkids which involved pins. I use these for sewing and bought a couple extra for making crafts! Work great!

Number of pins
The pin holder does not hold a great deal of pins. If you only need a few, it is fine. However when pinning a pattern or garment, there are not enough pins being held.

Not thrilled
I purchased this item to replace one I had bought previously that had cracked because I dropped it. The description says two piece, and the photo appeared to me to suggest that there was a top. I did not realize I was ordering two and I see no point in having two unless gifting the other, which I would not do. The magnet is strong but that’s the only positive comment I can share.

This is so much better than I expected. It's heavy to keep from falling off my sewing table. When I accidentally drop pins on the floor, I can take the holder and run it across the floor and it picks up the pins. I bought 2, one to keep on my sewing table and one to keep on the crafting table so I keep pins handy.

Good value
I ordered this as I am always losing my pins when I sew. I liked the value of the 2 pack so I can keep one next to my machine and the other on the table for the pins I find when ironing the pieces.
