When handling BAC, all fittings and seals are as reliable as ever. The gauge is sufficiently accurate. The vessel is solid, except for the bottom, which bows in the middle when subjected to vacuum. This is not a significant issue until a slab is laid on a slick, the vessel is leveled, and it subsequently runs completely off the slick on all sides. This results in a messy situation. There are limited options to resolve this without compromising structural integrity.

I use this vacuum chamber along with a portable stove top to puff candy such as taffy, caramels, and candy corn. This chamber has been used at least 5 dozen time and still holds an air tight vacuum. I’m happy it came with an extra filter too.

Very well built, not mentioned in the description the hose has 1/4 inch female flare connection.

Great product came as described with extra filter and gaskets. As far as shipping it arrived a day early and packaged very well. Using it for a run as we speak an seems to be holding up. I’ll update if anything changes.
