Stale tasting peanuts replaced by Hampton Farms
The bag of peanuts I received has a date which is 2 months from now but these peanuts are already stale and slightly rancid tasting.Update:I contacted Hampton farms and informed them of the problem. They promptly sent replacement peanuts . These are the best peanuts I’ve ever had.I

Good Peanuts, Some Issues With Consistency
I have been buying these larger bags of peanuts because I like to snack on them and I think it's a reasonably healthy snack. I like these peanuts because they are crunchy, not chewy, although, the last bag has let me down a little bit. Maybe peanuts are out of season now?One thing about this product/seller is that delivery is very slow. Often takes about 2 weeks for them to arrive. This makes it difficult to know if you're going to be home that week as we have the luxury of traveling on a whim and aren't sure exactly when we'll be there to bring them in the house. Not a really big problem though since I only order them infrequently.

I purchased this based on $0.08 per ounce. What I received was $0.31 per ounce. Will never order again.

Good Price - Lots of Breakage
The package arrived with no difficulty and was carefully wrapped. When I opened the peanut bag, there appears to be many more broken or cracked peanuts than intact. The flavor is fine, but it's a little annoying to have so many cracked shells. I know from experience that as I get further down into the bag, there will be significantly more cracked and broken shells.

We have been unable to find salted peanuts in our local grocery store. This is a large bag and is perfect for us and for feeding our birds, little critters that come outside of our home.
