Deep sink with a deep drain assembly
First off, I'd buy this sink again if needed. Fully knowing this was an 'undermount sink' I bought this for a basement bar to use in a laminate countertop as a drop-in sink. In the Questions Answered section there was a reply by the manufacturer stating it should be fine for this application. It did fine as a drop-in but as you will see in the photos, the two side edges did not sit perfectly flush with the countertop like the front and back did. I think the insulating coating on the underside of the sink lip is what caused it to sit differently on different sides. If used as an undermount, I dont believe this would have been an issue. I sealed under the sink lip with 100% silicone to seal the sink and prevent water from getting under but I'd sleep easier if it were perfectly flush. One other issue I ran into was that the provided sink drain was VERY deep. With the sink already being 9 inches deep, adding a 4 inch deep sink drain presented an issue with allowing the trap to hook up and properly drain down hill. I had to buy a traditional after-market drain that was half as deep as the one provided (which is a shame because the provided drain and strainer basket would have been awesome for a bar sink). This isn't necessarily an issue with the manufacturer, but a word of wisdom when installing a deep sink... make sure you have enough room to still hook up your drain. It would have been even worse had I actually used it as an undermount sink since that would have lowered the sink another 1.5-2 inches!Overall the sink and provided accessories are good quality from what i can tell so far. I'm happy with the purchase but a few small thinks (like no insulated coating on the lip of the sink to help with drop-in installation and an option for traditional vs basket drain with purchase) would have made this purchase perfect. If you're on the fence about purchasing a Torva sink, I'd say go for it but make sure a deep sink absolutely fits and there is at least 5 inches below the bottom of the sink to include the provided drain.

Rusted in under 2 weeks
TL:DR - surface rust appeared within 2 weeks; minor but unsightly. Would not recommend for contractors or other pros.Full review: Installed this as a top mount in my sailboat galley instead of dropping the change for a Ruvati (plus I liked the dimensions of this a tiny bit better) and all was good at first. Some undermount sinks have issues with their insulation interfering with topmounting, either because insulation on the vertical walls interferes with the edges of the hole, or the insulation on the underside of the flange surface interferes with them lying flat on the counter. This didn't have any of those problems - it laid pretty flat light off, and fit right into the template hole, even though I cut it a little undersized. The only initial issue was that the outside edges of the flange, especially the corners, woer a little sharp/rough, but it was no problem at all to soften them slightly with a few licks with a piece of sandpaper. On top of that, the included grating seems really nice, and the proportions and positioning of the corners and drain hole are very good as well. So far so good, right? Wrong. The one glaring reason that this isn't a five star review happened about a week and a half after I installed it: this supposedly stainless steel sink started to RUST!it shouldn't matter, but I have been keeping the sink nice and dry (I've been keeping the whole counter dry, because the finish on it is slow curing). But still a spot of rust about 4 inches long has appeared on one of the flanges.I don't have time to pull it, ship it, wait for the new one to arrive, then install a second one hoping for better results, so I'm just going to sand/polish off the rust and hope it is contained to that one area.if you're looking for a cheap alternative to Ruvati and have time to waste, try this one out, but I would not recommend it for contractors or anyone who needs a guaranteed professional finish the first time around.

What a great sink
We have had this installed about a week so far it seems to be a great sink , heavy duty construction, the finish is great so far, time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be a great sink, they installed it when they did our granite it was easy to install , it’s a very big sink and is just great overall……EDIT… it is now 9-7-21 and the sink has started getting spots on it that we cannot hardly get off and by the time you do get the spots off the sink is scratched and the coating is coming off …. Very very disappointed now I have to get it replaced I guess unless someone can tell me how to fix it it’s almost like the coating on bottom has came off I don’t know but don’t waste your money on this

I’m so glad I kept looking until I found this!
This sink is one of the best purchases I’ve made since I started renovating my house! It is huge, beautiful, and of excellent quality. I don’t remember how much I paid for it but it was WAY less than the ones I’d seen elsewhere. AND it came with accessories whereas the more expensive ones did not. The clincher though was when the man who came to measure for my countertops, (who’s company sells sinks, faucets, etc) saw it he was genuinely impressed. He’d never heard of Torva brand, but said it was easily equivalent to the much more expensive, top of the line brand he normally recommends to his customers. He even took pictures of it so that he could find out more about Torva for his business!
