Good product and worthy of adding to your exercise gear!
I got the 5Kg set (that's 5Kg per leg for those who have been asking questions here) and i have to say, I'm not seeing (yet anyway) any of the issues/problem encountered by other reviewers.Pesonally, these are the ticket. They fit well, they strap up with the velcro well, and as a result they hold well during exercises. What more are those complainers looking for? I don't doubt some folks have had the issues they mention, but some of them appear to be moaning for the sake of moaning. Not everything in life is or even could be 'perfect'. So what happened to the 'make-do' attitude?Anyway, these are filled with heavy beads by the sound and feel of it, and i can understand the frustration and complaints of some that the stitching has come away and those beads have ended up all over the place, and i do hope it doesn't happen to myself, or anyone else, because it'd put folks off what i believe to be a good product.Since i have been using them, i have felt a massive difference while doing stress holds and other exercises with them. I already have big legs, but i can already feel like my legs are going to get bigger and bigger from using these. Hopefully I'll get better definition from using these as well, as right now my legs just look 'beefy'.I easily recommend these to anyone into basic exercise and even professional body building. And looking at some professional body builders, some of you guys look like a squeezed tube of toothpaste. Too much on top and tiny legs LOL. Sort it out guys, it looks odd.I'd recommend to folks just looking for something to start off with, to go for the 1Kg set of these, and especially for novices. Please don't risk pulling leg muscles guys, trust me, it's not nice at all. Do a day on and a day off with these to let your muscles 'learn' to handle them. Mixed in with a bit of cardio on the exercise bike you should be looking well on your way after just 6 to 8 months. Oh and when using these coupled with the exercise bike, i recommend having the bike settings on easy mode. You're not looking to break yourself, just get the muscles in your legs oiled up and running smoother. Take it slow and easy with the leg weights, you want to feel the burn but not burn out!Good luck with these, i hope they don't burst out over your floors! Don't be afraid to buy them anyway.

Xn8: Flawed, but decent for the price point.
Edit: leaking iron sand everywhere now. Total lifespan ~2 months.I purchased these ankle weights alongside a pair of wrist weights from the same company and - shortly after - a weighted vest. I bundled together a few of my thoughts on them all as part of this review, as there are a few things that seem to be recurring faults.Bear in mind that my review (and photographs) are representative of the product after use 3-5 times a week for roughly a month.Products are generally good quality, comfortable and have genuinely helped with upping the effects I feel from exercise. Having said that, every one has had some kind of flaw with their build quality: in this case the item arrived in excellent condition but just seemed to have a few design faults. The whole range relies on Hook & Loop fastenings, but the bulk of the product both attaches to Hook & Loop if it so much as looks in it's direction and is quickly shredded should they become attached - At one point the 'hook' part of the 'Hook & Loop' touched the corner of the 'reinforced edges' and did a fair bit of damage when removed. While I do take exception to the site claiming "Secure Hook & Loop straps forming a strong bond when pressed together. Cannot be separated easily without applying a considerable force" due to problems with other products, I can honestly say that the ankle weights are sturdy in this regard: probably mostly due to the difference in surface area but the 'Hook' fastenings do seem to be more... dense? For this reason, I would recommend them over the wrist weights - even for wearing on the wrists. Not massively comfortable, but after a few minutes of wearing them they can generally be ignored easily. All in all, not bad for the money but beware what seems to be an ongoing, questionable build quality and not false, but misleading advertising.P.S. I love how the company is claiming these wearable weights have a 'Massage Function'.

Designer needs advice
The person who designed these needs some advice on how Velcro is supposed to work. The only way to secure the straps is by twisting them so that two opposing sides will stick.

The 5kg weights are huge and unwieldy. Make sure they are fit for your purpose.
This review is for 2 x 5 Kg ankle weights.First of all, these things are enormous.40cm long and 20cm wide, they are big, heavy and cumbersome. (Photo). They have to be big for the heavier weights as they are sand filled, as opposed to steel ingots. (The listing states its iron sand? Hmmm, the sand in mine is non magnetic, so if there is iron sand in them, the percentage of magnetite must be tiny).Due to their size, they are completely unsuited for any kind of walking or jogging exercise. They are however great for things such as knee lifts and the purpose I bought them for, extra weight when doing pull-ups.They are cumbersome, and putting them on is awkward and can take a while. The easiest way I have found, is to have your leg out straight and on something.Trying to put them on when seated is a pain. If you put them on bare legs, they will ride up and down with any vigorous movement. Its much better to have a thick pair of socks underneath, they feel much more secure that way. They wrap around the leg, and are then secured by looping a velcro strap through the steel shackle, then doubling it back on itself. The straps and shackle are well secured, but time will tell if the 5kg weight eventually proves too much and they fail.I shall report back, if and when this happens.Overall, I'm pleased with them. For the purpose I bought them for, just to add extra body weight, they are perfect. But, do bear in mind, that this size of weight is not suitable for walking/running.I hope you found this review helpful.
