Universal Air Conditioner KT 4430 A/C Compressor and Component Kit

I ordered this for a 2007 Honda Civic. The 1st unit I received and installed had a clutch issue. It made a loud squeaking noise and started smoking. Then stopped working. They shipped a new compressor very quickly. I installed it and everything went perfect. The A/C is very cold. Freon pressures are prefect. It is quiet. This is my 3rd time to buy these compressors ( The 1st was for an 2006 Acura ) and the fit and finish is top notch. I give it 4 stars, due to receiving 1 bad unit, but with the quick replacement and 2 successful ones running, I will buy another if the need arises. Installed a month ago and have proper cooling in my car now. My big concern that clutch pulley distance from compressor body is different in comparing with OEM compressor, so serpentine belt is not aligned the way it was before and I see side-to-side movements of serpentine belt which is not good. Overall quality is not high, e.g. electric wires are barely avoiding touching pulley (they just bended away of pulley and I'm worried that they under vibration or riding rough road they may get in contact with pulley)

Bought the compressor for my Honda civic and after 1 year it’s already bad

First one i bought is going on 5 years no issues. So far the same with this one. I recommend these. Heard bad stories of reman compressors. These are new.

Paid to have this installed, does not work !!!

This unit was recently installed in a 2007 Honda Civic. So far, so good. It's working quite nicely. Difinitely a good value compared to other units that do not contain as many parts!

So far, so good! Installed this in my 2006 Honda Civic EX 1.8L 4-door with no issues. It seemed to be a perfect fit, and I used two of the o-rings on the refrigerant line connectors. Followed all directions and common sense and it seems to be working great. I will update this review later if something goes wrong.UPDATE: 8/14/2018 -- Still working strong! Cold as ice!

This kit got to me quick and install on a 2007 Honda Civic was a breeze. The AC compressor lookEd like it had been built by the school of the blind, but fit and function so far is excellent.

The price was excellent the dealership wanted 5x as much for the part. Cars blowing cold without the high cost.
