Q: Response to my question regarding deep wrinkles was to wash, but it’s a gift. Are all blankets vacuum packed?

Hi, our faux fur blankets are vacuum-sealed during shipping, so please allow some time for any wrinkles to naturally dissipate after receiving them. They can also be washed with water, without affecting the overall quality of the blanket. Thank you!

Hi! You should wash a Faux Fur throw/blanket BEFORE using for the following reasons: ● to Set the fabric: this will help to ensure the dye used will not transfer or bleed, or will @ the very least reduce it by a lot. ● to diminish shedding: there will be shedding, however, it should be a lot less after the 1st wash when it is set. ● clothing & bedding are not manufactured in a 'clean room' like micro chips and motherboards. Factories are huge places and vermin are not an unusual thing to see in one. And industrial machinery kicks up lots of dust. Then there is the cargo shipments for it to get to the marketplace/store... Hope this helps! Thank you.
