Modern design with great brightness. The adjustable color temperature (5CCT) is very convenient, and the lights are easy to set up and install. Overall, a clean and modern look with excellent lighting performance.

Very good quality and best product to buy
The Ensenior 12 Pack 6 Inch LED Recessed Ceiling Lights turned out to be a solid upgrade. The brightness is impressive — each light puts out strong, even illumination, and the adjustable 2700K–5000K settings make it easy to get the exact tone you want. The fitting is smooth and secure, and the build quality feels reliable. One of the best parts is the thin canless design. The low-profile housing makes installation easy in tight spaces, even under studs where traditional recessed cans just don’t fit. Overall, it’s a well-made, bright, and versatile lighting option that works great in almost any room. Very easy to adjust

Very bright, nice build quality. Fairly easy to install, with one complaint.
2nd Update: I'm nearing the 5 year limit on the warranty, and I've had to replace nearly every light. I'm not sure as to how many of the original 24 lights have failed, as Ensenior's customer service has been outstanding and I replaced many lights before I started to keep track. At some point after many failures I started to write the date of installation on the back of each replacement, so I could track whether I was replacing an "old" light or one of the new lights. So far I have not replaced a light with a date written on the back, so it looks like only the original 24 are being replaced, which leads my to believe that the entire original order was just a bad batch. I cannot say enough about Ensenior though, they have been fantastic honoring the warranty. I just bought another set of 12 as I'm starting to feel bad about contacting them for more lights. With any luck these will be great, and the originals will just be a one-off bad experience. Update to original review: After 2 1/2 years of perfect service, one of the 12 lights started to flicker, then died completely. I decided to check the warranty, and was amazed that it was still active (warrantied for 5 years). I contacted Ensenior via Amazon and within 8 hours I had a response! They are not only replacing the bad light, but have shipped a second for no additional cost. Equally impressive is that they have requested (but NOT required) that I ship the bad light back at their expense to see what went wrong. Fast, efficient and friendly. Amazing customer service! The lights arrived well packaged, but four of the lights had some very minor damage to the spring retainer clips. These lights are designed to be held in place by springs that grip the sheetrock, and these springs have plastic "feet" on them to help spread the load. Four of the lights had the plastic portion of these spring clips broken, right out of the box. These had minimal/no effect on my installation, but I would have hoped that QC would have caught this at some point. The lights are very well made. The junction box is well thought out. The knockouts actually knock out easily, the edges of the box are not sharp, the wiring is done with the newer styled quick connectors that do not require wire nuts, and the boxes are roomy enough to easily accommodate up to 3 14-2 romex wires. The one complaint that I have is that the low voltage plugs are manufactured to such tight tolerances that they can be difficult to insert. I had to shave the tips of several plugs to get them started, and even then they were a very tight fit. I'm a fairly robust guy, and getting the plugs seated took considerable effort. I think that while tight tolerances in general are desirable, in this case it would seem to be a bit overkill. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with the lights, and the value they represent. In the picture you can see the 8' fluorescent tubes that are being replaced by these LED's. The LED's are brighter, come on instantly at full brightness, and cost less to run... What's not to like?

Great Customer Service if needed!
Outstanding product and even better customer service.. I had a slight issue with the connectors being defective and, after submitting videos and pics of what was happening, they immediately reimbursed me for more heavy duty ones I bought elsewhere. The connectors look ok but did not always hold wires as strong as I'd like them to. I will purchase more of these lights. Very easy to install and give off plenty of light.

Good product at cheap price
This is the second time I purchased this product. I want to share my experience with this product because I am happy with it. It is very easy to install. Even at the location you want to install the light there is a stud, it is not a problem, you can still install it because the light is very slim. I recommend using a 6 1/4 inch hole saw to drill the hole for installation.

Worth every penny! Works with Lutron dimmers.
(Ensenior 12 Pack 4 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box, 9W 75W Eqv, Dimmable Can-Killer Downlight, 750LM High Brightness - ETL and Energy Star Certified / $95 at the time of ordering, $75 at the time of the review) Video compares 2 bedrooms side by side, each with a different color temperature. The bedroom on the left was set up with 3000K (slightly warmer tone). And the room on the right is at 4000K (cooler white). It also quickly shows reverse-drilling of the cutout with a hole saw. The first time I bought these, I was super skeptical. I needed a thin LED (didn’t want can lighting). And the price for these were too good to ignore. Similar versions (nearly identical) are being sold at big box stores but at a much higher price. So, I took a chance. And boy did these turn out to be one of the best options available. If you just need a quick review, get these and you won’t have any regrets. If you can put up with my lengthy review (apologies in advance!), then read on. To light our 2600 sq ft home, I ordered 5 sets of these (in 4” and 6” sizing). I was on the fence about what Kelvin temperature to get. 3000K ended up being really nice for the smaller bedrooms. And we went with 4000K for the larger bedroom, living room, kitchen and dining room. That was near perfect. Installation is very straightforward. You do need to run wiring to wherever you want to place a light in the ceiling. Once you know where the wiring will be, use a drywall knife or a hole saw to cut the ceiling open. There’s an included circular template in the box. Tip: If you’re using a hole saw, drill in reverse. This keeps the blades of the drill from shredding your drywall to pieces. Even a lower powered drill will be able to cut through in reverse without issue. And you’ll get a perfect hole without having to do any drywall repair. Then, do the following: 1. Connect your 3 electrical wires to the corresponding wires in the included junction box and close the lid. 2. Connect the single white cable from the junction box to the LED light. 3. Bend the tabs on the LED light and pop it into the ceiling. The tabs will hold the light firmly in place. 4. If you do drill a hole right below a joist (which you may eventually do), don’t worry at all. Because the light is so thin, you’re able to position it directly under the joist without issue. The LEDs come with a small foam ring which sits between the light and the ceiling. If you’e using the lights in damp environments like a bathroom, you should leave the foam ring on as it will keep any moisture from entering the ceiling. But if you’re using the lights in a dry environment (living room, bedroom, etc), remove the foam ring and the LED will sit even more flush to the ceiling. This can actually make a difference when mounting these lights near ceiling-high kitchen cabinets, allowing the doors to swing open without hitting the LED rim. The light output of these 4” lights is brighter than you might expect. Especially when using multiple LEDs in a single room. Space them about 3-4 feet apart from one another. For a 12x12 ft bedroom, 4 of these is plenty. Even in larger living rooms, multiple rows of these are going to give you more light than you need. With regard to the 6” version of this light, I would only use that diameter size if your ceiling is 10 ft or higher. Or, if you’re placing these outdoors (like under a patio). LEDs have come such a long way. I’ll never install another can light again. Whether you’re doing the install yourself or hiring an electrician, you can’t go wrong with these. Good durable product. Excellent light output. Will definitely continue to buy these in the future. One last note with regard to smart lighting. I haven’t had any issues using them with our Lutron switches and hub. For reference, we used the following throughout the home: Sunnata Touch (dumb), Maestro (dumb) and Caséta DIVA (smart) dimmers. No problems with flickering or buzzing sounds. Even when using the app and PICO remotes, lighting adjustment is smooth. Everything just worked.

I used the 6 inch recessed led light to upgrade the 4-pin 26w G24Q-3 base lamp i(have to bypass the ballast first), The new led lamp is great, easy to install with different temperature color options. Strongly recommended.

I love these things (12 pack 4Inch LED Recessed Slim Pot Light with Junction Box) 5 selectable color temperatures means you can select warm white to harsh white to match the room, dimmable and don't make any buzzing noise (but that might depend on your dimmer). So slim they install anywhere even if there is a joist right where you want to put one, these are getting installed all over the place in my house!! A couple of things that could make them even better - 1. If the junction box was just an inch bigger it would make installation so much easier. 2. Make sure the wire is properly seated in the wire splice block before cramming it into the box coz the wires can pop out - even better replace them with Wago lever locks which is what I did. 3. Why don't they chuck in some 1/2 inch plastic romex cable connectors? - for a couple of cents each it would just be a nice touch. 4. Buy extras / spares - they're cheap so grab a few spares for if/when some fail in case you can't get them anymore in the future. 5. Get a good hole cutter and you won't regret it, I got the Milwaukee adjustable hole saw (C$35) and it's worked really well so far (about 40 nice clean holes). 6. Don't skimp on the number you plan to install, with 8ft ceilings if you don't install enough you can end up with dark spots in your room, but this is the same with any pot lights so read up about standard spacing for pot light installations. 7. Buy a good dimmer if you want to dim them, if you get a cheap crap dimmer switch you will regret it. Most of my comments above are just tips / advice and not criticizing the product itself, becuase these LED pot lights are fantastic.

Bought these because I needed something I could install into existing drywall. Overall I'm very happy and would buy again, but do have a few recommendations and pro tips. - The unit is very thin, and will clear 1/2" drywall if you happen to be over a stud/truss. However, the tabs where the springs are are more like 3/4" high and so is the spot where the cable comes out. So if either of these hit the stud, it won't fit. I was able to make it work by removing the cable support, but only just. Would be better if the tabs were lower and the spring arm geometry changed to allow for truly flush install. Also relocate the cable to align with the tabs to increase the options. - I wish the unit was a bit wider. I was replacing 6" traditional pot lights and the holes were 6.25" so some of the holes were a bit wider and it was borderline. Still worked, but only just. Nice thing though was I didn't have to remove the full bracket assembly inside the ceiling, I was able to remove only the can assembly and leave the bracket in place. - Junction box is really small, I had max of two romex/loomex 14/2 wires daisy chaining through these and it was tight. If you had 3, it would be very difficult and I would say, might not meet Canadian code. - Push terminals are nice, make sure you strip to the right length because if too long you have exposed conductors, too short improper contact. Also as far as I can tell, there is no way easily to release these if you screw up. I accidentally terminated a neutral into the hot and had to jam a pick in beside the wire to release the tab, it was a pita. One suggestion would be for an improvement is to replace these with the flip up tab type like WAGO's. - Annoying that there is no strain relief/grommet provided. I suggest getting 1/2" plastic snap in type on amazon. They're half the price of the hardware store, but get one for each wire, don't try fit two romex in each even if it says you can. Its a pita. - The color switch is amazing, works great. I ended up deciding I wanted a warmer white and was able to pull all 12 lights down and adjust in about 1 min each. Pro tip here, mind the spring tabs pulling the light down. Hurt like hell if the snap your finger and worse if they snap back, the metal wire can chip the bezel, so just be gentle and get a hold of it as you pull it out. Happened to me, but fortunately it was next to a wall, so was able to turn the light so it wasn't visible. - I recommend getting a larger pack than you need, so you have spares. LED's never last even close to their theoretical lifespan and 2 years from now, these might not be available with the same look/color temp. I needed 12 and I wish I bought the 16 pack, now I'm paying extra for a smaller pack. - Last thing, I bought a 6-1/8" hole saw on amazon ($19) for the holes I had to cut and it worked great for drywall and totally worth it for the price. I suggest marking it with the thickness of the drywall so to reduce the chances of hitting something you didn't know was there by cutting too deep.
