I have 3 different size tank sprayers (1,2,3 gallon) and was tired of carrying them around the farm. We have a 300 ft barn lane and 400 ft drive with a half circle turn around with gravel surface. I use 6 gal of spray to keep weeds/grass out of drives. We have 3 pastures totaling 20 acres surrounded by woods and 26 acres of woods in a woodland management plan. I needed a sprayer that I could use to kill invasive species along the pasture edge and in the woods. This sprayer does the trick. It worked perfectly right out of the box. The wide mouth on the tank with a screen allows you to pour chemical easily into the sprayer and the screen catches anything that might fall into it. I was able to take water, chemical and sprayer in a trailer to the back of the property, mix it the field and spray the pastures edge. I used 11 gallon of chemical first time I used the sprayer and it worked great. No leaks, 5 or 6 pumps pressurizes the tank with excellent spray coverage. With the wand I can reach 10 ft high and the spray is another 3 ft so I can reach places I couldn't reach with the hand held sprayers. Having the sprayer on your back is much easier than carrying around a tank and having to stop to pump 12 or 15 times to keep good pressure. I thought I would use more chemical due to the excellent spray coverage but I was pleasantly surprised that I used less chemical than before. I was able to spray about 1000 ft of pasture edge with the 11 gallons of spray. We have serious problems with Chinese bittersweet, grapevine and privet so I use Crossbow in the sprayer. Clean up was easy, the filter on the wand is easy to get to, the nozzle is easy to remove. The one thing I can't use it for is walking thru brush to get to invasive plants that are well hidden but I knew that before I bought this sprayer. With a tank full of spray on your back it is hard to maneuver in close quarters. If you are looking for a good sprayer, at a fair price that does the job intended then look no further than this sprayer. It is well worth the investment. One caveat is that any piece of equipment is only has good as the maintenance so I would encourage you to clean after every use, use vaseline on the o-rings and take care of the equipment you purchase.

This is way better than the stop-and-pump sprayers if you have a big project. First time filled it all-the-way up and discovered it was awkward to put on - sore shoulder and arthritis. Three gallons about right for me. I fill it and put it on a bench and back into it and I'm good to go. Used it to spray paint lawn. Worked great, just keep the pressure up which is easy with handle pump. Unit did not leak and held pressure well.

I’ve been using this FIELD KING 4-gallon backpack sprayer for about 10 months, and it works very well. Once on your shoulders, it pumps quickly and delivers a strong, adjustable spray, from fine mist to powerful stream, with pressure maintained easily every 20–30 seconds. The main drawback is the weight. Fully loaded, it’s around 40 lbs, which can be difficult for many to lift and strap on comfortably. I usually only fill it halfway to make it more manageable and even then will set it on my outdoor potting bench in order to strap it on with assistance of the bench supporting the weight. Overall, it’s a solid and efficient sprayer, but the weight keeps it from being ideal for everyone.

Really like this. Used several times before winter hit. So much easier than carrying a two gallon hand held sprayer. Having the 4-gallon capacity, on my back, really speeds up the weed killing and spraying chores. Should have bought this long ago. Seems like a well built, robust Sprayer.

If you're wondering if buying this backpack sprayer is worth it, let me make it easy on you - Buy it, This sprayer is worth every single penny. Between weeds in flower beds, in the expansion joints in my driveway, and in brick sidewalks with lots of small gaps, I have to spray weed killer every few months and it is a hassle. I bought this to replace a 1 gallon pump that I had been using and would have to refill 3-4 times. The 4 gallon tank and the hand pump speed up work significantly. It is great quality - well made and feels sturdy. You can tell that they didn't skip any corners. The steel frame allows you to set it down easily, but isn't too heavy on your back. The straps and belts to secure it are very comfortable once you get it on. Even the screw on lid is solid and well made. It takes the pressure off of your back not only from not having to carry a smaller sprayer, but also because the sprayer heads spray as far as you need without having to bend over. If you have a direct stream you can spray it precisely, or a spread out stream you can easily pump while you spray a larger area. The different sprayer tips work extremely well and haven't clogged once. It sprays more than other sprayers I have used (which I personally like) but there a flow limiter attachment if you want to use it.

Well designed and made. Comfortable to wear, easy to put on if lifted onto a table first. Spent a long time looking at reviews of various alternatives. Was a little unsure as this is a USA item incurring tax and import costs but still cheaper than nearest alternative. However, be aware designed for USA mains voltage so need to get a voltage adaptor for charger. Used twice for total of two hours without need of recharge. Bought to replace a hand pumped backpack after giving myself golfer's elbow weedkilling a two acre field. Very glad I did - so much easier and more comfortable

This is such a good product. I bought it in 2022 and in 2025 it still works perfectly. The battery lasts forever it seems without a charge and I’m so happy with this product that I am buying a second one. I use it for watering my gardens and then I also use it for spraying fruit trees. I find it easier to water the garden with this rather than carrying heavy water cans and walking up and down the rows because it’s just easier for me as an older lady to carry the weight on my back rather than carrying the weight of the water on my joints and wrist and shoulders, etc. 10/10 would recommend.
