Will this work on pitted, old headlights as well

I used it on a 2001 F-150 and it improved the headlights, although I must say, only somewhat. I would suggest something a little more aggressive if your are really bad. Something that involves some sanding might help. At least it did for me.

Is this for a single headlight or will it work for both. As in does this item wear out after the first headlight forcing you to have a second one.

Great question... If you plan ahead, you can do both headlights before the chemical evaporates. Make sure you don't open the sealed bag until you've scrubbed both headlights.

Will it take paint off if I happen to touch it?

I wouldn't try it. I recommend being careful. Put painters tape around the paint on the car if you are worried about it. I got some on mine but I wiped it off right away and hasn't taken the paint off. Always use protection

How many wipes does it come with?

It comes with one wipe which is enough to do both lights of one car. It works fantastic if you prepare the lens properly and you don’t get it wet for 24 hours after.
