Not for all avocados
I found that this item is a little too large for regular sized avocados that you get in British supermarkets but...The knife works really nicely, and I like that it's retractable. The scooping out end is also very handy but the stone remover is way too large and I find myself ending up using a knife to get it out anyway.This item is not a necessity by any means but it's useful for my father who enjoys avocados but finds them a bit fiddly to slice and scoop out using a regular knife.

For regular avocado eaters, this is fun
I can't say it actually saves that much time, but it gives me pleasure to use. Having previously cut myself on my palm with a nasty wound trying to remove a stone, notwithstanding the chop into and turn technique, this is much safer, particularly for my kids who can get involved in the cooking. It never quite gets all the avocado out, and it isn't particularly easy to clean by hand (avocado is greasy) but it's ok in the dishwasher. I will get another one when it dies in the future. My wife can't be bothered with it.

Only works if your avocado is the right size!
The avocados I had were smaller than the size of the tool so couldn’t do the slicing at all.Also couldn’t manage to get the stone out.The blade worked ok

Simple, quick and effective - no fuss.
You can neatly slice up an avocado half with a single scoop. I use it for preparing sandwiches in the morning, where speed is essential but dexterity is at a minimum:) It's also good for salads or avocado toast. The fold-out knife is very useable, the stone-remover maybe less so. Overall I wouldn't be without it now.

Great little utensil....
A useful little utensil if you eat avocados regularly!The little knife is surprisingly effective even though it’s plastic & the gripper to remove the stone works really well. I’m struggling a bit with the slicing part of the tool, it’s seems a bit too big to use on the avocados I buy.
