can you use this to gather net fabric?

I used it to gather tulle for a tutu. Single layer and a double layer....just go slow.

Will the Singer ruffler attachment work with my Singer Sewing Machine Model 237, over 40 years old

I researched this before I bought it and I had the same question. What I read is that most machines that are home machines (not commercial) are low shank machines and this will fit. I am guessing, but I think it will. I looked up your machine and used to have one similar and this attachment is exactly like the one I used on that machine. I believe it will fit. I think you also might be able to call singer and ask.

Will this work on a Singer Merrit 4525? I have a ruffler foot (not Singer) that will not line up properly, breaking needles. Worth trying this one?

Low shank or high shank? This one fits low shank.
