Thew slippers are cute and beautiful as pictured. I first bought the small for my niece who is a size 5- 51/2 and the y were too small so i had to exchange for the medium.. which fits roomy and she has room to grow in.

Velvety material
When you buy online, there's always a bit of anxiety in terms of what to expect in quality, specifically materials. These slippers have a plushy velvety feel like those of quality stuffed animals versus the inferior carnival type. I purchased these as a pick-me-up for my daughter who's leaving for college and she loved them. These are really better looking in person. If the seller provided better pictures, you might be able to see that. We don't know how these will hold up as far as use and time, so can't comment on that right now. Four stars only because one of the wings seems to flop down instead of up. Perhaps the packaging while in transit or just how it was sewn. Who knows! Shipping was as expected.
