I like the alarm, and the magnet, the bottle opener,, plenty of cable length, except the battery saving feature. The screen keeps going dark which is a little annoying, but a touch of the button brings back the number.I bought the item because without it, I have to keep checking the temperature by sticking a thermometer probe in the meat. Not only is that annoying, it significantly lowers the cooking efficiency. Especially with a gas grill, the grill temperature drops rapidly. With this thing, I just set the alarm, and wait for it to sound off! It saves time and energy. I am planning on getting a charcoal grill for my RV and I think this item will be very useful for that too.The magnet allows me to put the thermometer screen anywhere on the grill, which is a plus.update: on the 2nd use, I got a little fire in the grill that burned the wire and the thermometer stopped working. I assumed that if the wire was supposed to stay in the grill/oven by design, it should be able to sustain the heat (or fire). evidently, it cannot sustain a fire. I appreciate that they give me a replacement. now I will have to be careful about burning it.

Instructions were obviously written by someone who doesn’t speak English. Once I figured out what they were trying to say, the probe worked fine.

I have had other thermometer s but this one is the best. I use it when BBQing ,making candy, baking, meat temps, its great. You can not beet it for the price.

Having dropped my previous timer into a pan of water, I needed a replacement. This one reads almost immediately and has an additional feature of a corded probe. It tests as being extremely accurate. I highly recommend it.

I wanted an easy to read meat thermometer that was also programmable. However there doesn't seem to be instructions on how to operate those functions. It worked fine to check the temperature by inserting the probe. I'll have to work on it a bit to see if I can muddle through the technical process.

Works exactly as advertised.

Thermometer is easy to use and glad it has the ability to have the attachment prong so you can check meat in the oven while cooking.
