Everflo Soft Wash (Bleach) EFSW5500-BOX 12V Diaphragm Pump - 5.5GPM, 60 PSI Max, QA Ports, black (EFSW5500-BOX)

Would not work when I got it. I was buying for the Spring time but could not replace or refunded due to the fact it was past the return policy date when I actually got to test it. Never again! Wast of $200!!! Not happy!

Let me start by saying that I NEVER give 1-star reviews. However I’ve purchased 20+ Everflo pumps over the last 5 years spending thousands of dollars on this brand.They used to be great and reliable, but the quality continues to go downhill. They are now to the point that you can expect them to last 5 weeks - which coincidentally is 1 week past the return window. The last 4 Everflo pumps we’ve ordered have lasted EXACTLY 5 weeks, and they then stop self-priming or just stop working altogether.I was hoping that this “bleach” pump would have better internals and last longer than the standard pumps - but I was sadly mistaken. Save your money and spend a little bit more on another brand. This brand is no longer reliable, and these WILL let you down and waste your time and money.

I had an issue with the pump head and they were very quick to replace it

I viewed the reviews after purchasing this pump & was upset until it arrived & I plumed it in. This pump has out lasted any other 12v pumps I’ve used, I’ve been running it 6 days a week, water gets on it from my buffer tank all the time, I’ve had zero issues vs other pumps connecting with pvc fittings that always seemed to crack, I’m buying another one now after I leave this review for my new rig to ds.Idk what these other guys are doing, I’ve got a brand new 12v 5.5 from another vendor/brand & I’m buying this just to avoid the headache.

Great pump for the money…. Little workhorse

Pump died half way through first job. Their "leak detection system" kept malfunctioning and cutting off power to pump until you climb down off roof and turn it off then back on again. If you could manage to run for more than 10 minutes at a time, the motor would overheat and shut down making you wait 20 minutes for it to cool off. Then after about 3 hours on job it just died completely. Next one I got had identical problem with leak detection system, but then actually did develop a leak at bottom of pump after about 5 hours of use. Went back to using "the big boy" from pressuretek.Com . I get about 6-8 months out of those pumps before I have to replace them, and even then they still work, they just start losing power as they get worn out, but you can at least limp along at lower pressure to finish the job your on. Having replacement cartridge is a good idea, but they failed on execution.
