Great quality
This is a great buoy for the price. It is a bit thicker than some (good for me because I can hold onto it easier than the tapered ones), high quality (it doesn't scratch or get gouges in it easily-- mine still looks new after a month of use), and inexpensive compared to some of the ones I looked at in local sporting goods stores. It's also easily visible (and recognizable). I would definitely recommend this, and when I need another I will buy this brand again. I have a couple of other items from Finis (speed snorkel, fins) and they have performed well and held up to both chlorine and saltwater very well. I am happy with this and with the workout it gives my upper body!🙂

Best Pull Buoy
In my opinion, this is the best pull buoy out there. The radius at the end of the buoy are slightly larger than most other brands. It stays put, not sliding down your legs on long pull sets. Very happy with my purchase!

Perfect!
I just had knee surgery and should only be swimming a few hundred meters for a few more weeks. This pull buoy keeps my butt from dragging without having to kick, meaning I can do yards kicking but then keep going without kicking (and sinking!) The size works well for my size (5'10" 165 lbs). The buoy is smooth enough to not cause chaffing but textured enough to not be slipping all over. Works well.

The ideal buoy for swimming long and strong!
It’s so nice to have a pull buoy that really helps me to work on strong arm pulls. The Finis model is wonderfully buoyant and makes my sessions in the pool quite enjoyable. I alternate sets in the pool, using the buoy on one and going without it in freestyle mode on the next. Being able to alternate back-and-forth like this helps break up my workouts and has truly helped me to make a ton of progress on lengthening my stroke and developing its strength!

Great basic buoy!
Solid performance at a reasonable price. I’m 6’2, male, and weigh 180lbs. This provides more than adequate buoyancy for me. The adult size is correct for me - I the reviewers stating this is small may have accidentally ordered the junior size. Notes: • Has more bouyancy than the generic pull buoys found at many lap pools • A hair wider than other figure 8 buoys I’ve used • Good texture - haven’t had this slip out on a flip turn, unlike other buoys • Color seems kind of silly until you realize literally no one will mistake it for their buoy. I find the color growing on me as I use it more. It actually borders on *too* much buoyancy, depending on what you need. It forces me to focus on hip position, really forcing me into a “downhill” swimming position. This may be a detriment to newer swimmers who haven’t yet developed sufficient core stength, but it is perfect for my pull segments. This have been a 5/5 product, but it isn’t going to change your world, so it’s a solid 4/5. For the price, just buy it. You won’t have any issues if mine is any indication.

A Smaller Version of the Adult Size Pull Buoy
I am adult female swimmer, but I wanted to use a pull buoy that had less buoyancy than the adult version, because the adult version causes my back to arch a little. This pull buoy worked perfectly for my needs.

Support for my low back.
I swim for my physical health and use this leg buoy to keep my spine in alignment so as not to twist too much and aggravate my low back issues. I have L3-S1 degenerative disc disease and referred pain. The buoy allows me to immobilize my thighs and hips and prevent twisting in my spine. I also get a better upper body workout. I like that this buoy is symmetrical on the ends. Excellent quality.

Angenehm an den Oberschenkeln, da gut zu greifen und tut nicht weh. Auch schön breiter. Andere haben vielleicht weniger Strömungswiderstand, aber das ist mir schnurz.

I'm a self-taught lousy swimmer, and wannabe triathlete. I joined a Master's Club to improve my technique. Little did I know that a pull buoy would be required as well as flippers and paddles. I was only used to the cheap poolside ones, so my thoughts about this training aid was limited. The reviews for the Finis pull buoy looked promising and I went ahead and ordered it, despite there being other cheaper alternatives. I'm a firm believer that cheap ends up expensive most of the time. Also, knowing the damage that chlorine does was a huge concern for me. I wanted a training tool to last me for a good long time. I found it initially large when I received it. Being a triathlete meant having bigger and heavier than normal legs, meaning that my legs sink when I swim. The large Finis pull buoy fit between my thighs comfortably and I wasn't forced to squeeze hard on it to keep it in place. It is large enough to support my legs and hold them closer to the water's surface. We also use the pull buoys at the ankles and it fit nice and secure there, too. After about a month of use in the pool and always rinsing it out with cold water, it still looks brand new. I don't know much else to say about this training tool except that it is high quality, it does its job (and does it well). It's a pull buoy!
