Squirrel Brand Ruby Royale Premium, Snack Mix, 18 Oz

I was looking for a trail mix that was similar to a black and white mix that “Shmarget” carries when Ruby Royale was suggested at the top of the others. I was interested, and bought it after looking at a few reviews, all praising how good it was.Between when I placed my order and when I received it, (which was less than 24 hours) I spent time reading many more reviews about the taste and quality of this mix. There are miles and miles of scrolling with nothing but 5 star reviews, and every single one of them is well deserved.It’s safe to say I won’t be buying trail mix in store ever again because this Ruby Royale is all that I need. The ruby cacao is bright and light, it’s not a cloyingly sweet flavor at all. You can really feel the quality of the almonds and pistachios on the bites.I didn’t realize there was that much of a difference compared to what you can buy at the store, but there is!Go ahead and buy at least 2 if you can, as my only complaint is that the can isn’t endless! A few handfuls right when you get it and half the can is gone.

As someone who actually isn't a big fan of raisins, I have to say, this mix with the cranberry raisins is really quite lovely. It's impressive in that, not only is everything in it very tasty individually (the slight fruitiness of the ruby chocolate pairs really well with the almonds, likewise with the yogurt on the cranberries, and the nice pistachios) but everything also works very well together, in any combination, and is well distributed throughout the container. The only downside for me is that it is pretty pricey. That said, I'll probably pick up a can here and there. If it were a bit more cost effective, I'd call this my new go-to snack food.

The first time I had encountered this product was through Sam's Club. It was some thing they brought in for the Christmas season with all the other special goodies. I decided to grab it to see who all liked it and come to find out that my bf's dad being the picky eater he is loved it. I took note of this as it is really hard to shop for him. Christmas 2023 came around I was having a hard time thinking of anything so I have possible gift lists for everyone. I saw this item on the list and couldn't find it at Sam's Club so online was my only choice. Amazon had the best price and I could not find it anywhere else at the time. It came fast, sealed and fresh. I honestly love this stuff myself and would say this makes a great gift.

The flavor of this mix was surprisingly delicious and I felt myself going back for seconds and thirds when I didn't necessarily need them. That being said, the price is too expensive to consider this a leasure snack. It is more suited for a gift basket or a rare snack when you're visiting with someone you haven't seen in a couple years.

This is a premium product. Having said that you do get premium ingredients. It's not like you're paying a high price and getting peanuts and chocolate covered raisins.The mix was difficult to put down and stop eating. I started to eagerly share it with friends, but then got mad cause they were eating it. I wanted it all to myself because the flavor was so good and tasty. I found it hard to stop until it was gone.The packaging made it easy to get to the product. It was an attractive design. Lettering was easy to read.I have never had dried cranberries covered with anything. The taste is devine. The right combination of sweet with the salty pistachios.I'd definitely buy again and again.

I bought this on a whim and I almost wish I didn't because it is so good I can't stop eating it! This is a quality mix with a good amount of everything instead of using the dried cranberries as the biggest filler. I actually don't even usually like cranberries, but holy moly, these are seriously great. I will definitely be purchasing this again!

I was intrigued by the ruby cacao almonds here, and it's definitely the best part of this mix. It's not quite a chocolate flavor, but it's sweet and very tasty. The rest of the mix is just there. I don't find anything exciting about dried cranberries, and theflavor of the pistachios gets lost in the extreme sweetness of the other items. Overall, not entirely worth the price, but glad I tried the ruby cacao.

The flavor is there. The perfect ratio is there. The quality, size, cravings to buy a whole box of these is there too. 🤣Seriously- they did not shy out on the parts we all know we wanted the most- the ruby chocolate coated almonds and the yogurt covered cranberries 😍Dare I say something should change? Yes. The only thing I would change is the regular cranberries. We already have yogurt coated ones, with the regular ones it just seems a bit heavy with the cranberries. Even though everything is a perfect ratio. Maybe another type of dried fruit to keep that nut to fruit balance. And no… not raisins 😂
