It works as descibed
I had the monchrome version of this GPS hiking unit for many years. I actually wore it out. This one has a color display and it is harder to read because the letters are smaller and a little lower contrast.

Inaccurate and Slow
I was nervous because it was my first time buying a refurbished product(+ international shipping). Well, the power is on, But there's one problem. The product's ACCURACY is BAD. Even though it's a GPS UNIT!!!What I need is the tracklog function stored every 100 meters, but it's inaccurate. It's recorded in almost 300 to 700 meters. BAD and POOR accuracy. Cell phone would be better, Galaxy or Iphone whatever.I've used Garmin GPSMAP 64/65 version before, It can store up to 50~100meters.....And, I save it for backup, but the transfer speed is too slow. The maximum transmission speed is 710KB/s, and it takes 2 hours to store 6GB. OMG. '빨리빨리 Hurry, Hurry' Koreans going to die waiting.

Hmmmm
I was replacing a Garmin Dakota 20 that I broke camping. The 22x works fine but it's missing the altitude function which I was disappointed to learn. I thought it was a standard feature on all GPS units.

Basic off road navigation
Not a touch screen but locks up faster and battery life is good. I've used Garmin GPS for over 20 years, so I'm familiar with the options and menus. It's a fit in the bib of my overalls. Enables me to find my favorite hunting and fishing spots and ensures I can find my way back
