Doesn't come off of a box easy, not easy to rip so in my opinion that's good, very sticky, and it doesn't take too much to get the tape off the roll if you actsadently loose.

I must say I was surprisingly impressed by this tape - first, I will simply trust that is will last (some other tapes I've used, all cheap ones, and many brand name ones, don't last - the adhesive dries up and either turns to powder and lets go, or turns hard and lets go, even while still on an unused roll that has sat for a year), but that aside, this tape is *thick* and feels really solid compared to most tapes that are ultra thin, which also makes it extra easy to pull off a roll or use in a dispenser without it flopping all over and sticking onto itself or the dispenser. It is crystal clear which is very nice too. This will be my go-to tape from now on, even if I don't need the long-lasting aspect - I'm hoping the long-lasting aspect means the rolls will stay good even if not used for a year. As for cheap, no-name tapes I've tried over the years, I always want to find a bargain, but they all, every one, have been pure junk, with them seeming great when first purchased and applied, but then quickly becoming unstuck, being unable to peel it off the roll after it sits a while, or the tape warping on the roll, the adhesive becoming dry and hard or powdery or a sticky mess that is unusable, etc. I highly recommend this tape, all worth it even for short-term and regular use.

Took ages to arrive, but this is the best packing tape. Really strong backing and excellent glue adhesion -will not come unstuck where it is needed. This is the second roll I've bought, and will buy again if seller keeps in stock. May 2025: So darn good, I'm ordering a 3rd roll!
