Work well
I connected my 1700 lb camper, to frame mounted torklift tiedowns, on my ram 1500. Just needed some 3/8" plated chain and four 3/8" chain quick links. These turnbuckles are super quick to connect and adjust. Quite happy with my purchase. Would recommend.

Good product for price.
These camper tie downs look strong and well built. The chrome and/or stainless steel should last for years. The threaded section inside the bottom of each cylinder is perhaps an inch long--not just a nut welded into it. A dab of lube such as silicone spray may extend their life. Turn the cylinders enough so that the handles will pull the latch snugly all the way down, but not so far that you end up bending the handles! I recommend not screwing the handles in place but rather to leave one or two in your door pocket, and the rest in your tool box. When used, you may find that the handle should be flipped for full release of the tie down. This will probably vary with the camper and truck system. I added a piece of heavy chain with a hook at the bottom for each forward tie down. For the rear, on my rig, I found the threaded section of the Happijac too long. I simply cut a few inches off so that it threaded several inches into the cylinder. Be sure to file the cut end all around. It works better to have one of the lock nuts on it before cutting. This will then chase the thread clean. Each time you load you may need to make a few turns on the cylinders to firm them up before latching the handles down. Tie the little pin rings to the latch with something like a long piece of quality twist tie so they don't get lost. They must be installed for safety while traveling. If you have trouble pushing the pins home, just iinsert a handle and jiggle the latch a bit.Enjoy. These tie downs will greatly ease your loading and unloading. Remember to unplug your electrical cord. Ha!

boom! bid savings over TL & stainless well made spring loaded
freezing rain, heavy Donner snow, massive wind, sea salt 3 months on & all excellent, what a savings over TL!! Thank you Happyjac! Cranked down hard no problem no break, crank down soft some slack no problem, cotter pins stainless as well & these jacks can be adjusted fully open without any issues! For some crazy reason I was positioned just so & needed to really run the long screw jack fully & it held! 400 miles with mountain driving b 4 I tighten it up at gas. I'm think'n I have put these though more of a test than maybe most in a short period of time & the savings of $$'s damn I'm am so happy ..jac!
