Well after a couple of times trying to call my credit card company using the number on the back of the card and misdialed it twice I had to give in and buy a magnifier and this looked like a good one. It is heavy but has a soft handle, it gives almost perfect amount of enhancement so I can read those small print things that are so prevalent in the world (or maybe I never noticed it). The bottom line is I got it to keep me from doing things wrong and making mistakes simply because I missed something in the directions since it was in very small print. This little thing less than $10 solves all those problems so it gets 5 Stars from me.

Product is not a 10X. Nothing on the box says 10x, only the bar code label that was added by Amazon.It is a solid magnifying glass, but is likely 2.5x to 3x.The description of this item is misleading and needs to be changed.

A decent magnifier for the money. Fairly easy to maintain focus at around 5x strength. Very difficult to maintain steady focus at maximum 10x strength. This problem is not unusual with most hand-held optics.

I've fussed and cussed trying to read the tiny type with readers and prescription glasses. I finally had the thought to buy the freaking magnifying glass to keep on my nightstand ... works great. When I have something I just cannot read, I pop it out and there it is! Great for the money, should have thought of it sooner!

These are nice magnifiers for the money. The handle is rubbber-textured so it feels comfy. The lens is glass so there is some weight to this magnifier. I am not sure how many times it magnify but it is stronger than my 3x one. To increase the magnification, you have to pull back from the object but then it isn't quite as clear and can be distorted because of the curvature of the lens. It really depends on what you are looking at and you have to move it around a little to find the sweet spot. Overall still a very good value.

Not cheap or flimsy and it works great. The handle has a non-slip cover which draws your attention when you pick-up the magnifier. I really like my selection and purchase.
