I was very pleased with this gift for my nephew. He absolutely loved it, and played with it, as soon as he got it. I was also happy that it came on time. My brother and his wife left for Newfoundland on the 19 of Dec., so we had to exchange gifts early. It came when it said it would.

I’m giving this a 5 Star because it delivered what i ordered and packaging was pristine. I ended up gifting it to a 12 year old for a birthday gift with a Ripleys believe it or not book. The Book was a bigger hit for him. I think perhaps the legos were to “young for him” just a personality thing. He’s a new member to our family and while some 12 year olds will find this great, I had a sense it was a bomb for his age group. His 8 year old step brother loved his mine craft legos purchased on amazon for the dual birthday party so i have nothing to say bad about the product itself. Except, know your audience lol

Couldn't be much more pleased. Maybe an instruction page. Love the new pizo ignition. Didn't think I really needed to replace them, but they perform so much better!

This is a good set of your child likes minecraft, child loved the railway aspect.

This Nether Railway is a great addition to the Lego Minecraft world. My 9-year-old son built this set, and reports that it is awesome! The railway feature incorporates some new pieces beneath the track to tie it all together (at least they are new to me). The rail system works really well in my opinion. This is not meant for a train, just the single car that comes with the set. Although the little car is a pretty simple build and should be easy to replicate with common Lego pieces. As with many Minecraft sets, this one comes in modules that can be rearranged in different layouts (at least 10 distinct modules...maybe more). So there is lots of versatility in how the railway can be constructed. I don't play Minecraft, so I can't comment too much on how closely this set reflects the scenery in the game. But my son, who loves the Legos and the video game, assures me it is "really awesomely good".
