Not worth it- she description
Not what I was expecting. Expected to be much more authentic. Not as described. Also no scent of Myrhh at all. No way this is from Mt. Athos as described

Very tiny
Be very aware of measurements. Its TINY. IT IS actual metal ( thin pressed aluminum) Faces are paper prints under the aluminum. Its on a scrap of (rough )stained pine wood. It’s a good size for a Christmas ornament or such. Looks very crafty/cheap.

I liked that they had a written label on the back, even if it was in another languageThe metal embellishing was well done and the total item wrapped in plastic for protection. It's a pretty piece and I will feel good about giving it as a gift.

Came defective, but I fixed it.
The metallic cover shows the whole bodies, but the faces are simply a postcard. In the case of the one I purchased, the icon (postcard) had slid out of place. Luckily, I knew how to fix it, by very gently bending back the thin metal cover, Re-gluing the icon and then re-gluing the metal “Ryza”. In painted icons of this sort, watch out for the fakers who only paint the faces and the hands, but advertise “hand-painted icons”. And everything coming from Greece will have very official certificates, sometimes with wax seals. These mean very little. With icons it helps to know what you are buying, or to have a knowledgeable friend who can advise you.The price was reasonable, but the quality was lacking on the icon I received.
