Right tool for the job
After reading the product reviews I determined it would be beneficial to take great care with the amount of force used when tightening and loosening the repointing tool. The technique used is more important than strength or force. Practicing your repointing technique with some old, used, or beat up darts is helpful before working on any darts of value. The tool works perfectly when used properly and it should last a long time.

Good for individual use, not for clubs
Bought this tool for my local bar. The tool is stout and nice looking but the threads do not hold up well. After about the 10th dart the thread in the point holder started to fail and strip out
