This book has just arrived and I have had a good look through it. It is the usual excellent standard that you expect from Dave Canterbury. It is very practical and covers what you need to know. Everyone should have a copy of this book if they spend time outdoors whether it is practicing bushcraft, camping, Hiking or any outdoor activities

A really interesting and useful book
Be advised that this is an American book, written for use in America, so some of the herbal remedies aren’t appropriate for the UK. Nevertheless, well written.

A good, accessible part of a useful set of books.
Dave Canterbury is an experienced wilderness instructor and this book is testament to that. Well worth a read as part of his bushcraft set it is easily understood, clear and well illustrated. I would advise reading the earlier books in the series first but it is accessible to beginners and experienced bushcrafters alike.
