Durable and does the job well!
Bought one of these for our backyard a couple of years ago and very effective at removing grass and mud from shoe treads. Just bought another for the front door as well. We did not have to bolt it down, put one foot on the stand and it stays. Thank you for a great product!!

Works for Birks
Altras, birks, danner boots, orthofeet, wildlings, ariats, mud, chicken crud, clay, and all kinds of plant matter.I was beginning to look for wide, flat shoes with smooth soles cuz I was getting so sick of bringing the yard in with me. We have a cordless stick vacuum. a high power canister you'd know the name of, a commercial upright with a metal beater bar. We have the tools, but I don't want to drag them out 3 times a day just to keep our rugs gross within reason. Why not just take off my shoes? Dogs. 5 of em. and besides, even with elastic laces sometimes I'm in the middle of something. I'm. not. taking. them. off. every. time. I'd have to start a blood pressure medication.Jeez. the soles on the birks and danners.. Comfy, but I was gonna throw em out -- my beloved rat boots! The brushes have been holding up against some rough scraping for nearly 2 months without showing any wear I can recognize. Heck if I know which way to mount them. but they get the crud off.. if you're screwing into decking, roofing screws are good.I mounted mine under the overhang, so they dont really see rain. I was thinking of corrosion and sun damage. But the trade-off has been that rain doesnt wash it out for me! I dont know if I made the right choice there, but it's done. We'll all cry if we have to pay for ridiculous replacement brush prices.. but I'll do it anyways. Tears in my eyes. because I'll only vacuum once a day at most. and only thoroughly once a week.Thank you for saving my lifestyle.

A Very Solid Boot Brush
We had a dirt problem in our house and I had no idea how to solve it. My husband generously walks our dogs twice a day and on the weekends we all go to the dog park. Going in and out of the house his Merrels and boots pick up so much dirt and debris (not to mention our two Aussies) I was vacuuming twice a day. My husband finally suggested we order a boot brush for the front door. There are a lot of boot brushes to pick from which is something I did not anticipate. This specific brush is recommended for commercial use and is FDA compliant - sold. The first two days this thing was at our door the amount of stuff coming in the house went down dramatically. The brush is genius. We don't have it attached to anything, it just sits outside by the step and my husband stands on the metal on one side and brushes the bottom of his shoe on the other side. It is really an easy process. One per week I sweep off the ground underneath the brush because holy moly does stuff collect under it. I like this brush because there are replacement parts easily available if we need them in the future, it is sturdy and easy to use. It's not the most attractive looking brush in the world, but sometimes function needs to exist over form.

It works! We live in an ag community and this baby really cleans our muddy boots and shoes
My husband was shocked with what I paid but he uses it and agrees it works great. It's durable and so far seems well worth the cost for a product that cleans out the crevices of our hiking boots, my rubber boot and shoes, his work boots, etc.Would like for my hubby to screw it down to a sturdy board, so I don't have to hold it down with one foot while I clean the other. The frame comes with holes for that purpose. But so many projects! He'll get to it eventually. For now, we have it against the wall on the walkway up to the kitchen door, and hold it on the other end with the foot not being cleaned off, and get the job done.

Most Dependable
I work outside and have used many different boot brushes. At some sites, we have to arrive and/or leave with sanitized boots which means first cleaning off all the dirt before rinsing and spraying with alcohol. This design with the boot scraper on the inside and the curved brushes on the outside gets more dirt and mud off than any other boot brush I have used and is easy to switch from scraper to brushes with just a flip of your boot. The way the brushes are raised up makes it easier to clean the brush, just spray it off and dirt washes away. I mount the brush to a square piece of plywood, then you can step anywhere on the plywood with the one boot to hold everything steady while you vigorously scrape away with the other boot. The bristles also last longer than any other type of brush I have used and you can buy replacements. Only problem is that the frame occasionally breaks when a brute bangs away at it but this brush works well for most outdoorsy folks.

Very well designed
I have had this thing about three years now and I absolutely love it. It is money well spent. What you don’t appreciate at first is the design, that comes with time as you start to learn how to figure it out. I mounted mine on a three-quarter inch piece of plywood For better stability and easier cleaning. This thing will outlast me.

Gets the mud off
Good stiff brushes. This really needs to be mounted to work properly.

Best boot/shoe cleaner ever!!!
Best boot cleaner that I have ever used. I have to work in trenches some times running underground utilities and the mud likes to stick. This boot cleaner is light weight but very sturdy. It cleans the tread and arch of your boot or shoe quickly and easily. I keep it in the bed of my truck to use whenever I need. I recommend this to everyone that I can. It is weather resistance and cleans up easy. The brushes last along time and replacements can be purchased for around $15.00 each. 5* all the way
