Schaeffler LuK RepSet 03-047 Clutch Kit, OEM Clutch Replacement Kit

Works well, good value. It has however made a few shifts a tad noticeable (hard) but I think I need to figure out is something needs to be adjusted with the shifting mechanism to account for the additional clutch material. Minor gripe. I'm very happy with it overall. Also came with throw out bearing. I did not replace the flywheel given the light duty usage of the car, works just great. Car was a 2003 BMW 325i with 190k miles on the original clutch :(

This is a LuK Repset, properly marked, boxed and sealed.**MAJOR NOTE** - the release bearing thrust face is LOOSE BY DESIGN, it 'wobbles', which is disconcerting, but correct. The wobble allows for minor misalignment between bearing and clutch fingers. I am a master BMW tech since 1987 and have my own shop now so over they years I have come to know the different manufactures of the parts used in BMW's as they were new. With that being said I always try to find parts that are made by the original manufacture but not labeled with BMW packaging and this saves not only me a lot but also I can pass the savings down to my customers. I like that it all comes in a "kit", with the clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing together. This is the same kit that I used last time, but a lot cheaper from Amazon.

It's already the second time I place the order and a damaged piece arrives. The Clutch Bearing was broken the first time and now the Pressure Plate.

Product fit my 2000 bmw 323ci perfectly, although i recommend buying new screws for your clutch because when taking out the old screws you can easily strip them. Also there is a lock on the the pressure plate and i recommend taking it off after you have fully mounted your your clutch and pressure plate to your flywheel. To take the lock off i just twisted it with two vice grips on it and then popped it off by hitting a flat head screw driver with a hammer
