I don’t even remember how I first came across Versed skincare, but this was my gateway product — and I’ve now gone through three tubs. I can’t use micellar water, and I hate runny oil cleansers. But this stuff? There is no makeup it can’t melt off, and it feels downright luxurious. It also gives me this lovely sense of nostalgia. I used to sit on the bathroom stool as a kid, watching my mom and grandma remove their makeup with cold cream — and this has that same soothing ritual to it. The scent is delicate, never medicinal, and it doesn’t irritate my skin or dry it out. Even my eczema stays calm. Because I loved it so much, I branched out to the retinoid eye balm and under-eye moisturizing cream, and they’re equally gentle. Honestly, they’re the only eye products I can use daily with zero irritation. If you haven’t tried Versed, do it. This cleansing balm is the bomb — no stinging eyes, no flare-ups, and I can even open my eyes mid-cleanse without regret.

This goes from sorbet to oil, from oil to milk, and to foam, like it is supposed to do! Magic! It is very rare in drugstore skincare, but this one actually does what it claims. It is not like Ponds, not like Cake Beauty, not like whatever else that claims to sell cleansing balm for 5 bucks, those are literally scams! I was so frustrated with using products like Ponds, I almost stopped wearing makeup last month. Finally, I can start wearing concealer without having to dread the cleansing process. I don't even like the smell because it smells like Vicks Vaporub - Not a negative anymore, my standards are lowered by other brands... I will smell like Vicks, but to go to bed clean!
