The Nylabone Extreme range of bones and chew toys are just right for your dog if he loves to chew and is very good at it. These chew toys have a delicious flavour throughout, meaning the flavour goes on for as long as the chew does, they are not sprayed, dipped or coated in any way so there is no chance of that tasty flavour being licked off. The materials are as tough as real bones but they don't have the same dangers. Nylabone have been mastering making chew toys for over 50 years and have a manufacturing process like no other, we make sure they do not splinter, instead the nice smooth surface roughs up as it is chewed and tiny bristles raise on the bone, acting like a mini toothbrush which will help keep your dogs' teeth clean and prevent tartar build up. If your dog does manage to bite any off it should only ever be as small as a grain of rice and these can be passed if swallowed, they are not a choking hazard. It is important to select the appropriate chew type, size and formulation based on your dog's age, breed, chewing style and weight. The pressure exerted by a strong chewer's jaw is considerable and when directed straight down can put tremendous (as much as 450 psi) stress on the dog's teeth. It is therefore recommended that non-edible chews be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than the top and bottom. If you have more than one dog in your household, select chews appropriate for larger, stronger chewer. Replace when knuckle ends are worn down or if it becomes too small for your dog to chew safely. To clean Nylabone Non-Edible Chews, scrub with a brush under warm water, using mild, non-toxic detergent and rinse thoroughly. Nylabone products are flavoured throughout and will last the lifetime of the chew. No amount of scrubbing will remove Nylabone flavour.

DONT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO KILL UR DOG
this is the worst product i've ever bought my dog. so it's meant to be 100% strong and durable, marshall my lurcher has had it about 5 mins and done this to it. those are all bits of plastic looking "nylon" (sorry, dont believe this is made of nylon) that have started to chip off. fair enough he enjoys the taste but if your dog swallows this stuff, they can't digest it, so it'll get stuck in their intestines and you'll be left with a dead dog or a sick one and a huge vet bill. worst product ever, they shouldn't be allowed to sell this.

Dogs love them
Doesn’t matter if I order 1 or 10, they both want the same one. Worse than kids!!!These are great, my dogue de Bordeaux’s love them. Always chewing on them and usually get a month out of one, leaves very little mess.Must be nylabones best customer!!!

2 months later still doggo's favourite
My doggo's best friend moved to another city so I took pity on him, went on a shopping-spree and bought a bunch of natural and synthetic dog toys including: kongs, bouncy tennis balls, stuffed animals, squeaky toys, animal hides and yak milk chews. This is by far the his most favourite of the lot.He is a big boy with strong jaws and I always choose the 'extreme chewers' variety of toys for him. This bone has not only withstood the test of time (and is still going strong), but he seeks this out and will happily chew, lick and slobber all over this.I can't smell any scent coming off of it and it doesn't leave any stains when used on carpet or hardwood floor. It must smell or taste good to him because he is always licking it like a meaty bone.It is hard so when my dog is rough with it, it bangs around a bit and i don't let him use it too late at night or too early in the morning for this reason. The ends have been chewed up but is still just as enjoyable to him as when brand new out the box.I highly recommend this for all aggressive chewers, big dogs and those who get bored easy.. it lasts a lot long and holds my dogs interest a lot longer than a kong does.

First “toy” with proper durability!
My sister’s young Dog has destroyed every toy he’d previously been bought. Some within a couple of minutes. This “extreme” chew is the first one that’s living up to the name. After 10 minutes of solid chomping he’d then realise he wasn’t going to destroy it. Leave it alone for a short while and then return to have another go.He’s still barely scratched the surface. We’re delighted to have found something that is a match for him and will be buying another as he’ll eventually get through it.

Expensive and not all pups like it
My adult cocker looked at me worried when I offered it. Took it obediently and then gently put it down on the floor and ignored it.His comment:"Okayyy hooman, I am clever boi. I take hard no taste plastic ... I put down here. Now gib me treat for good boi?"My teetching cocker puppy gave it a sniff and went back to gnawing the cardboard it came in. Her comment: "Gngnfngngngndnggg. Cardboaaaaard."The product is good quality although the flavour is obviously "super sonic" so not within the range of human smell or taste. (yep when my doggos turned noses up at it, I gnawed on it a bit to see if it tastes of anything. Tasteless.)I guess its a gamble - if your dog likes it, score! But I won't be buying Nylabone again.
