Q: Will this device mow my grass?

While it may mow the grass what I'd really like for it to do is give a strong, consistent signal. To identify the specific item it is pairing to and not just to phone 1, phone 2, etc. To make pairing to my computer easy so one doesn't have to go to the control panel every time and turn off this or that in order to use the headset. Does it do any of that???

Q: does this work on linux

This was a little tricky but not too bad.. you have to get a file and you may have to modify the last part like i did had to First i install blueman via sudo apt-get install blueman sudo wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugable/bin/fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd -O /lib/firmware/brcm/BCM20702A0-0a5c-21e8.hcd sudo wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugable/bin/fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd -O /lib/firmware/fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd sudo modprobe -r btusb Still was not working...so i ran command dmesg in terminal and looked at the failure message . It was very close but mine said it could not find BCM20702A1-0a5c-21e8.hcd (notice the top A0-0a5c-21e8.hcd) so i ran a symbolic link to fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd. sudo ln -s /lib/firmware/fw-0a5c_21e8.hcd /lib/firmware/brcm/BCM20702A1-0a5c-21e8.hcd After this i was able to get the bluetooth manager to add the new bluetooth speaker

Q: How many devices can it support at a time? Can I send/receive files via bluetooth while using my bluetooth mouse using the same bluetooth adapter?

I use this dongle on my computer with an LG 730 bluetooth headset and it works great on music, videos and streaming Netflix. Ive not had an issue with playing anything.
