Does kit bolt into factory location?

yes it bolts to the factory mounting position

Should a drop pitman arm be purchased as well? I read that the pitman arm and track bar need to be at the same height.

I did not get a pitman arm it is very close to the same angle. I think dropped pitman arms are for bigger lifts.
