A lot of people on here are doing too much powerful type of stuff at home with it, the point of this though is its portability and beautiful screen quality + resolution. On the go this is the best laptop out there for the price. Super lightweight + long battery life + great screen and brightness. Its perfect for $~600.

This computer is working beautifully after a bad startup. It started out asking me if I wanted to downloading windows 11. I said yes. Why didn’t it come already loaded? I plugged in for a few hours, but there was no charge. It didn’t charge at all. I looked on the internet for a solution and it said to go to updates. I saw that they were not completed. Error code 0x80070032. I forced the updates. There were lots of Intel updates. Why? It’s the newest i7. Now that it’s all set it works like a charm. I’m very happy with the speed and the screen. * I write reviews to let you know how this product was for me, and to aid you in your decision to buy or not buy.

Laptop was light, and would have been great, but I had to return because screen intermittently shuts off. Screen goes black repeatedly during use, and there was continued glitching across days of use. Seller originally did not give full refund and held 20% of the costs, but after review submission, they promptly let me know the next day that their technician was able to identify the issue, and a full refund was given.

I purchased this computer from Amazon in May 2022. After a few problems with the screen and the charging port, I returned to Acer to be fixed in January. When I had the same problems in March and the computer died, I returned it again to Acer, only to have the computer returned with a note that there was 3rd party defective hardware in the computer and they had to factory reset my computer with their own factory installed hardware which was much less memory than I purchased it for on Amazon. Upon further clarification, I was told it was actually sold through Amazon by a 3rd party - ProElectroInc., which I had not realized when purchasing (I assumed it was through Amazon - I have since learned my lesson). Nobody from ProElectro will return my messages, Acer is saying they are not liable because it was sold by 3rd party, and Amazon will not help me either due to 3rd party seller. So I have a now have a factory reset computer still within my year warranty, with a lower ram/storage than what I paid for, and my documents all on a defective piece of hardware taped to the top of my laptop which I can't access without paying someone out of pocket to retrieve my documents. It looks like ProElectro should be the one to assist in this matter but they will not contact me back and their Amazon seller site just points me back to Amazon, and then Amazon just points back to ProElectro ... a round robin situation where nobody is claiming responsibility or helping fix the solution of the defective hardware. A very frustrating 4 months!

Screen quality is fantastic. Computer is VERY fast, and light.

No se mucho de computadoras, digamos que sigo aprendiendo al respecto. Pero este equipo me parece muy bueno, la proporción de su pantalla, 3:2, creo que le da un aire retro que me encanta, pues me recuerda mucho aquellas laptops con pantalla en proporción 4:3 y por ende me recuera mi primera portátil! Además es una pantalla muy nítida y brillante🔅. Es un equipo muy rápido, el hardware se ve de muy buena calidad, es muy ligera, cosa que me encantó, puesto que eso facilita transportarla a donde quiera con mayor facilidad! Es muy silenciosa, casi no se calienta, aunque creo que aún no la he usado tanto como para exigirle mucho al procesador, pero para mis necesidades de trabajo y entretenimiento, está bastante bien, salvo por el volumen de las bocinas, es muy bajo!!! Ese es un punto en contra!! Otro punto que tal vez puede considerarse malo es la ram, es solo de 8GHz y no tengo ni idea de si se puede o no expandir, espero que si. El equipo se actualizó a Windows 11 y sigue funcionando muy bien! Por último, solo comentaré que el teclado y el trackpad, tienen punto a favor y en contra, el teclado tiene teclas de buen tamaño y espaciadas, lo que me resulta bastante cómodo, la retroiluminación a veces oculta el símbolo de algunas teclas, pero como el teclado qwerty lo conozco de memoria, no tengo problema con eso, ni con el hecho de que es un teclado para el idioma inglés (algo que ya sabía al ser un producto gringo), algo que me hubiera gustado es que la tecla de bloqueo de mayúsculas tuviera una luz indicadora, pero no es así, en su lugar solo sale en pantalla un candado cerrado cuando pones las mayúsculas y abierto cuando lo cierras; un punto a favor del teclado es que tiene una tecla que cambia la función de varias teclas, para crear un teclado numérico, cosa que me parece muy práctico para cuando se requiera introducir muchas cifras de forma consecutivas, por ejemplo si se está llenando un documento de Excel. Respecto al trackpad, es de muy buen tamaño, cosa que creo, es algo como el estándar actual, acepta gestos y responde bastante bien, aunque a veces, en PowerPoint, quiero seleccionar una palabra y como que ahí si falla un poco en responder, también hace unos días, como que le sentía un ligero juego a la hora de los toques, pero al momento de estar escribiendo esta reseña, creo que ya no lo alcanzo a percibir. Por último, tiene un SSD de 512Gb que es bastante bueno, pues muchos equipos similares tiene la mitad de eso o menos, En definitiva, un muy buen equipo que cumple con creces mis necesidades y más, espero más adelante usarla con alguno que otro juego a ver que tal se comporta. Cuando lo haga, actualizo esta reseña.

Me ha encanto la computadora, el sistema operativo esta en inglés pero no tengo inconveniente en ello, super ligera que da miedo tirarla sin querer, me encanta el teclado retroilumidado, es muy rápida,también me gusta el desbloqueo con huella, la verdad parece que hice buena inversión, ya se verá con el uso. With I7 processor laptop is fast. Wifi-6 is super fast (5 times faster than the other laptop). Battery backup shows the different when you are using different applications. Sound is ok. 13.5-inch display looks bigger than the keyboard. with the silver color laptop white back, keyboard LED light doesnt match.
