Tinkeractive Workbooks: 1st Grade Science

Exactly what i was looking for my 6 year old. Only drawback was that the package was soaked in water( snow snow all around) and the outercover of the book was partly damaged. But amazon took care of it and gave me a partial refund instead of going through returns hazzle, so im happy.

This is such an engaging book!! I'm homeschooling this year and this is a subject the kids look forward to. The projects are simple enough for them to do with just a little supervision. My preschoolers join in as well. I personally have my kids do 2 pages a day (very quick and easy), but you could so an entire lesson in one sitting.The only downside is that the pages are not well bound for the amount of use these are getting. For me it isn't a deal breaker. We use these a lot so wear and tear is bound to happen. I will still give it 5 stars.

The material is very relevant to school curriculum. My kids love the activities the book presents.

Such a great addition to our homeschool curriculum! This made science fun and engaging with everyday supplies and your imagination. This whole series (math and english, too) is perfect for hands-on learners and the fidgety types. The Expert prize for completing the book is a MotMot magnet....very useful for displaying my child's accomplishments and she loved it! We will be using the Tinker books again next year for sure!

I was looking for a science workbook to use for homeschooling my Kindergartner. I went straight to the 1st grade one based another review about the Kindergarten one being too easy. We love this workbook! The eye catching illustrations and simple instructions keep her attention. We tend to skip the Tinker experiment parts for another day when we have time or better weather.
