In Which Reg Buys Dark Chocolate Tea Cakes and His Wife Showers Him With Affection
A deeper, ever-so-slightly more adult flavor that's a great addition to the Tunnock's snack family. We're so addicted that we must have at least a couple boxes shipped over every year, particularly near Christmas time, spending those weeks happily nibbling away at our Tunnock's milk chocolate cakes (available locally) while watching the post in heady anticipation of the arrival of their darker chocolate brethren. We particularly like pairing the darker chocolate cakes with an Assam-heavy brew, served in a china cup and saucer. Mugs are reserved for the cozy, familiar milk chocolate cakes, or for when you eat a dark chocolate cake washed down with Cadbury drinking chocolate- a truly heady, dangerous combination to be indulged in only sparingly. Only for the stout of heart! Be warned- this is chocolate dynamite!Best held with your pinkie lifted ever so slightly up and out to make things extra special. Or you can just rip off the foil and wolf it down in one go.We've done both. Tastes delicious either way.

Perfect
These Dark Chocolate Tunnocks Cakes were fresh and received in perfect condition. I would buy them again from this vendor. They were a hit at a Valentine’s Day Tea.

I love these Tea Cakes!
When I visited Scotland a couple of years ago, our tour guide shared with us the dessert he grew up with in his school lunch box every day. (Sort of like Hostess Cupcakes in the US.) I tried them and fell in love. I’ve been ordering them ever since!

I LOVE THESE
I got addicted to the tea cakes in England ... and then I found them here on Amazon - amazing! Great seller, have to be patient as they do come from the UK. Worth the wait and ooooh so yummy. BUY at least 5 boxes to make it worth - I give them out as presents.

Just the right bite.
The marshmallow is much lighter then American marshmallow. It feels like it melts as soon as it comes in contact with your mouth. The entire biscuit is less sweet the American counter parts.

Small yet tasty treat
Sized smaller than expected. They do taste great! I wanted something different for an afternoon tea snack, so this didn’t disappoint. It was worth trying once. Order double or triple what you think you might need. I’ll probably order again with other similar items, though this item wont be the focal point of the snack tray. Shipping from the U.K. to the U.S. Is about six weeksIngredients:Mallow 38% (Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Egg Albumen), Dark Chocolate 34% (Sugar, Cocoa Solids 30%, Milk Solids 4%, Blend of Palm Oil and Shea Butter, Emulsifier-Soya Lecithin (E322), Flavouring), Biscuit 28% (Fortified Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin)), Blend of Palm andsee Rapeseed Oils, Sugar, Milk Chocolate (Cocoa Solids (min 25%), Milk Solids (min 14%)), Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate and Disodium Diphosphate (E450)).

Shipment Preparation Issue
Love the product, but whoever prepared it for shipping should consider a hardsided box next time, rather than a plastc envelope for shipping. At least half the teacakes are crushed or damaged.
