Great quality metallic thread for machine embroidery. With metallic thread, I use a horizontal spool pin adapter so the thread pulls straight off the spool like toilet paper (lol) rather than being wound off the top of the spool which can cause it to twist. As long as I use the adapter, I've had no problems with this thread twisting or breaking, even with a regular embroidery needle and not a metallic one.

Received quickly. Was only in a thin plastic mailing envelope, so plastic case is broken in pieces on one corner. Was hoping to use it for storing my metallic threads. Love using the Madeira metallic threads on my embroidery projects. Works well on my Babylock Valiant and Solarus2. I do lower my speed down to 500.

I do machine embroidery on placemats. I used this thread to do the lettering for the Twelve days of Christmas. Usually, I have a lot of thread breakage with metallic thread, but this thread was outstanding! When I run out, I will definitely purchase again.

J'utilise ce fil avec une brodeuse, le fil est de très belle qualité. Je retire une étoile car j'aurais aimé avoir plus de choix sur le mélange de couleur.

Bin sehr verliebt und setze ständig größere oder kleinere Akzente, mit diesem auffallend schönen Garn. Ob nun- wie meine Vorrednerin meinte, unbedingt für Anfänger geeignet,- bezweifel ich eher, da man doch etwas vorsichtig vorgehen sollte, ggf, langsam herantastend. Je nach Maschine. Generell, bin ich hochzufrieden, dank der optischen Wirkung und mit einem bischen Feingefühl, klappt es wunderbar. Auch das Freisticken, per Maschine, funktioniert prima, wenn man die richtige Nadel, nebst Fadenspannung, verwendet... --> Singer Curvy 8763: Fadenspannung bleibt auf Automatik. Colori stupendi e davvero brillanti, filo molto bello e abbastanza resistente, purtroppo è troppo fine per il mio utilizzo.

I use these threads for Prick and Stitch, which is hand embroidery on card. A great range of colours and good quality. The price is competitive. Definitely recommended.
