Works on the M50 as expected
The media could not be loaded. It actually does work on the Canon M50 - I have the first one and by moving the rubber piece outside the battery door the cord goes right in and the camera powers on as normal. This is a great tool and I’d definitely purchase this again.

Life saver
I couldn’t be more in love with this dummy battery. I create content so my battery is always dying mid sit down. Believe it or not I have 3 batteries & I was just tired of having to swap them out. This has completely changed my recording process. More than a good buy & absolutely worth the money.

Works exactly as expected
Plugged in the cord to a power strip and the battery in my camera and everything worked just fine ive been using it for streaming and there’s good value in the price for the product

Si quieres trabajar con tu cámara en jornadas extensas, sin la necesidad de eestar cambiando contínuamente de batería, este accesorio es el que debes tener. La única pega es que su conexión no es mediante USB, lo cuál hubiese sido gfenial para conectar la cámara a una batería portátil.

Does NOT fit Canon M50 Camera
Big heads up for Canon M50 owners! This does not fit the camera as claimed on the description. The dummy battery did not clip in and the adapter sticks straight out so you cant close the battery chamber (the door you close for the battery to stay in). Because the chamber doesn't close the power won't work from the power adapter. I was really hoping this would work, so disappointed! Off to buy the authentic canon power adapter for Live Streaming.-----------UPDATE!!!All right! I got it to work, I take it all back! The problem with this Kimaru Adapter is that they don't provide instructions on the Canon M50 within the little instructional pamphlet. So you are left alone to figure it all out. So let me help others out through this review.1. Put the provided dummy battery in (the correct way), this will allow the battery to clip in nicely. You'll know when you aren't putting it in the correct way if the battery sticks out.2. Then, close the battery chamber. From there lift up the little rubber in the middle of the chamber... which is called the "DC cord hole". Never knew that was there!3. Plug in the adapter to your outlet and then to the dummy battery and walla! You got your Live Stream power source.Hope this helps!

This is just what i needed. I needed it to keep my camera on while i stream and it does a great job!

Surprising find and …..
This item worked as a replacement for my cord. It also seem to keep a good charge. It does well with the device. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE
