How to Draw: Faces: In Simple Steps

Poor
This book was in my opinion a complete waste of money! It offers no practical help at all ! It's a random collection of faces to copy it even starts in an odd place with a couple? No easy steps explained at all just copyingThe faces chosen to copy are boring you would be better off buy a newspaper or magazine and copying people from there! I would not recommend this book to anyone

A really great way to learn how to draw faces.
I think this book is really great for anyone who wants to know how to draw faces, or is simply a drawer. Each portrait to draw is step by step, and is shown what it looks like, when finished,in pencil, graphite pencil and watercolour. I have really enjoyed drawing the faces in this book so far, and i highly recommend this to anyone, because it basically shows you all the things you need to do to draw a face step by step :)

Not useful for a beginer
Got this for my husband as he finds faces very difficult to get right. Unfortunately it's not very detailed and seems to miss out steps so it hasn't been very useful. However we did have a good laugh trying to recreate the pictures. Would not recommend for a beginner at all.

Nice little examples, wished for more technical help
The examples in this book is not bad at all, but quite simple. I had hoped for more technical advise (e.g. the proportions of the face, the dimensions of features, etc), but in this book on each page there is just a six step guide to a facial sketch. I liked that it showed colour detail as well and is a fun guide to drawing faces.

A great book. I have always found it difficult to draw faces, this book gives you some simple step to help you and end up with a product you are happy with. I have brought many books in this range and have always found them to be very helpful and easy to use. A great price too. 5 star rating.
