Good Rain Gear, Not for Rugged Conditions However
My husband is a conductor for the Rail Road and has to get off the train in wet conditions many times. He needed a rain suit that can be carried with him in his backpack and not take up much room. I found this one by Frogg Toggs and he loves it. The price was right so I purchased it. It is very light weight and takes up minimal room in his back pack. He loves the Khaki color instead of the normal banana yellow. We ordered it in XL and it fit him perfectly over his work clothes. The last suit he had we ordered a 2XL thinking he would need the extra room since he's a XL/2XL in clothes. He's 6'0 tall and weighs about 230 lbs. and the XL fit him nicely not too tight or too loose. The quality is a little better than expected for an inexpensive suit, and the Frogg Toggs is a reputable brand. It comes in a nice bag that you can fold the suit back into when not in use. Here are the pros and cons of this set as we found them even with several cons this set still gets a slid 5 stars from us. Pros: -Great Price -Many Sizes and Colors Available -Fit Wonderfully -Very Lightweight, Great when you have minimal storage -Material is breathable and moveable Cons: -No access slits to pants underneath. -No pockets in Jacket or Pants. (Guess that's to help keep out the rain) -No zipper access for using the bathroom. -Might could use a drawstring on the pants. -The material tears easy if it gets caught but can be repaired with duct tape easily -No elastic bottoms on pants and this would be helpful. A few suggestions as this is our second rain suit purchase. Our first was Dri-Ducks by Frogg Toggs. BTW we like this set better but I digress. First suggestion. Order your size, don't order a size bigger thinking you'll need it bigger to go over your clothes. The product allows for clothing underneath in it's design. I would suggest this for yard work, dog walking, and working conditions where there’s not a lot of strenous movement. I would not suggest it for motorcycle gear. *I paid full price for this product and hope that you have found this review useful to you in some way.

not a durable item but for emergencies
since these wont be used unless its raining, i am not worried about the material lasting forever. these are not the kind of item to last years when used daily but they will be fine when used in the car for rain and can be used in the winter for wind protection and heat retention. they fit just fine as well over regular clothing so you dont need to take off clothes to wear this over it. AFTER SOME USAGE THE JACKET IS STILL IN TACT AND DOES ITS JOB, BUT THE PANTS HAVE NEARLY SPLIT IN TWO FROM JUST ONE OR TWO TIMES OF BENDING TO PICK UP SOMETHING FROM THE GROUND. THEY ARE STILL USABLE IN KEEPING THE LEGS DRY FOR NOW, BUT IT WONT BE LONG BEFORE THEY SPLIT COMPLETELY AND ARE NO LONGER DOING THEIR JOB. THEY ARE A CHEAP ITEM FOR AN EMERGENCY BUT DONT COUNT ON ANY LONG TERM USAGE.

Gets the job done, but not as sturdy as more expensive rain suits
I bought this rain suit for my husband to wear for backpacking adventures, but I have also borrowed it to take along for some of my own adventures, including a 50+ mile bike ride on a 48*F, rainy, windy day. PROS: This suit is pretty lightweight and packs relatively easily into a backpack. When folded, you could totally be kept in a day pack, school backpack, or even a larger sized handbag, which is super convenient. This rain suit offers sufficient rain and wind protection without feeling as "stuffy" as a traditional rain coat. If you're looking for an inexpensive, lightweight rain suit that can easily be thrown into your pack or handbag, this is a good choice. CONS: While this rain suit gets the job done if you need protection from rain and wind, it does lack the quality and features of more expensive rain gear. This suit isn't crap, but you do get what you pay for, so if you plan on using your rain gear very often and require something very durable, you may want to consider investing in some sturdier gear. Also, this rain suit doesn't have some of the features that more expensive ones have, such as pit zips, special pockets, etc. so if things like that matter to you, definitely invest. Also, if you're prone to splitting your pants or are doing activities where that might be a concern (biking, sliding around on rocks or snow/ice, etc.), beware that these split pretty easily! BOTTOM LINE: If you're looking for some inexpensive, packable rain gear, this is a good choice. If extra durability and special features are a concern, you may want to consider other gear.

Pants tore at seam even before I went outside in the rain!!
I walk 4 miles daily, rain or shine. I purchased this a month ago. Today was a typical rainy day in early April so I decided to put the two piece suit on for my daily walk. I purchased the large size. I am trim, at 6'2" and 188 lbs. I had to take the trash out from the garage and just partially bent over to pick up bags of shredded paper for disposal and I heard the split at the seam at the seat of the pants. Please see attached photo. I could not believe it. This thing was put together with scotch tape and that is too complimentary. Since I had the suit on I decided to give it a test drive none the less. I am a fair person. The suit kept me totally dry. The pants legs were long enough to prevent my jeans underneath from getting soaked. Most of the time I walked with the head covering untied. It does get warm. Today was about 55 degrees and I had a light jacket on underneath the rain jacket. It was comfortable. Although the suit did what it was supposed to do, the tear in the pants on the FIRST day of use is totally unacceptable. It is past the 30 day period for return but I have been a customer of Amazon since 2002 and will probably get some dispensation. This rain suit is a piece of garbage. I highly recommend that you do not purchase and look elsewhere. If I could give it a rating less than "one", like minus 10, I would have.

I've got to hand it to Frog Togs, this as a super waterproof set. Very lightweight, sizing is perfect and it has kept me very dry, even in the harshest of conditions. Over a year since I purchased this suit, and it has stood up well to the rigours of trekking through the woods. Not a single seam has given way, which surprised me, as my walks are ... errrr ... challenging. All in all, I am more than happy to recommend this suit to anyone who wants to stay dry in challenging conditions, but also want something that isn't going to add much weight to their carry.

Alleen de jas gebruikt tijdens lange afstand lopen. Broek is te gevoelig voor mijn doel. Jas is licht, houdt regenwater prima tegen. Vlekt wel snel. Laag gewicht en waterdicht is het doel. Dus aan te raden.

The jacket is a classic. Lightweight och waterproof. Durability is a problem when used to anything other than rainprotection. I knew the pants wouldnt hold up due to the reviews. And they didnt. The riped the first time I threw my leg over the ATV-seat. Wished they sold the jacket separately.
